SE SOTD, Friday January 31st 2025

Razor : Yaqi Romulus SE 316 SSP head with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2024>, mild to tame mid range depending on blade or gap used. Machining, finish & design are excellent + any AC blade type(Feather, Kai, Proline) seems to work in the locating clamping keepers of the Yaqi Romulus variants.
Blade : Kai CTMP (3) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity. Great blade in my different variants (SB,OC) of Romulus SE razors.
Soap : Yaqi Dragon, very interesting mild cologne scent + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Ever Helpful" 22 mm 2 band badger. Great little brush with some backbone but soft tips making it unique for folks who like the scrub with a 2band badger.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : MyYaqi splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Yaqi Romulus with a Kai CTMP blade.
