Schick E, Cella Organic lathered with a Zenith Boar and finished off with Pinaud Clubman Vegetal Lilac today. Great combination. I finally got a vintage glass bottle I like to decant the Vegetal Lilac into.
Sun 12th Dec The Grosvenor 404mixed Vitos Super Red Claymore Evolution Kai Pink ( 4 ) GB Grey Flannel A/S Lotion Had a break from my Injector rotation as I often do at weekends. The Evo is proving to be a favourite of mine, as it fits so well in the hand and is easy to manoeuvre through all angles and planes. I find that I can get a Top Notch finish with ease and little threat of mishap.
GEMonday, Dec 13th 2021 Razor: Gem junior bar lather catcher- Mfg 1907-11, excellent tame mid range(mild?) with a new blade this baby performs nicely, it is just a nice razor to use if you like Gem razors period. Well built to last, great audio feedback, space age technology for it time era with the skin tension bar which was replaced with a top cap eventually. Gem seemed to have great ideas with their razors. Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(1) Very sharp blade, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable. Soap: Razorock Irish Countryside, mild scent with excellent lather qualities. Nice soap.(Misted) Brush: Yaqi 2band badger with barber pole handle(nice hand ergonomics), excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, nice scrubber, + excellent lather painter. Clemak Razor (British 1908 patent)/Gem PTFE. Serviceable, blade might have been a little tired (my head shave eats them quickly). Pick-up pass with my mild Enders Speed/Proline (I keep three loaded with different exposures) was lots smoother. MDC per usual. Sent from my Pixel 5a using Tapatalk

Tuesday 14th December Yaqi Moka Express - OSP Sandalwood - Ever Ready 1912 - GEM Stainless Coated #4 - Cien X-Bolt AS - Aloe Vera Gel My all time favourite OSP scent.
I didn't get around to posting this yesterday. Nice, easy, very comfortable and very close shave today with the Gem Pushbutton. Williams lathers so well with a boar brush and the Aqua Velva is a great finishing touch.
Tue 14th Dec RR 400. SE Plissoft noir MWF Schick Type O Clone Schick S/S Twin- Japan ( 8 ) Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion This Razor may be a copy but it is a solid piece of kit, which was until the arrival of AC/SEs my special occasions choice. Teamed up with a Twin Blade it delivers extremely comfortable Top Notch Shaves every time. Today was as good as I had expected and it is hard to believe that the blade was on its 8th outing.
L'Essor SE/Gem PTFE. I don't see this razor in many SOTDs but it's a lovely and perfectly capable design. Nice shave. Sent from my Pixel 5a using Tapatalk
ASRazor shave, Dec 14th 2021 Razor: Star Bar #4,-Mfg 1919-20, excellent tame mid range, Star( Kampfe brothers, Brooklyn NY) made excellent lather catchers and this one is a good daily driver IMO. Star brand where pioneers in the first safety razor produced for world wide in sales. I had a great shave with a Schick M1 injector using a new Supply Black blade, Stirling Gentleman soap and aftershave Three passes and a lovely BBS result. Man, I missed shaving with an SE.
To the best of my knowledge they are no longer made. However they can be found. The originals can be found occasionally also but at a premium price. I recently picked up a clone by putting a Want to buy post in the buy sell trade section of the forum. Good luck with the hunting.
I used vintage Williams Mug soap for the first time today. It was also my first use of Lucky Tiger aftershave. Both products performed perfectly. The 1909 Ever-Ready also performed great with a Gem SS PTFE on its 12th use. So this was a great shave for my first vintage Williams Wednesday shave.
Wed 15th Dec Omega 11126 boar Ach Brito Mogno Yaqi Raster V2 Feather Proguard ( 4 ) Tuff Green A/S Lotion A somewhat disappointing Shave, as it was harsh and uncomfortable not at all like my experience with a guarded blade. I think the blade needs binning.
Thursday 16th December ArtSecret Synth - OSP Urban Viking - Ever Ready 1914 - GEM Stainless Coated #5 - Brut Attraction Totale AS - Aloe Vera Gel While I was looking for a Yaqi brush, I stumbled across this brush from a different supplier. My thoughts were that the handle has a similar look to a vintage Ever Ready Lucite handle. It certainly is visually similar.
