This was my first use of the Hawk and one of a handful of Artist Club razor shaves I've had. The razor is very light but the handle is a nice length and overall it is very comfortable.

This is also my first use of a Southern Witchcrafts soap. It made a fantastic bowl lather and has a pleasant but strong fragrance. It was almost too much for me at first. Fortunately, my wife loved it. She says it's her favorite so far.

I had a typical three-pass shave that ended in an easy, close to perfect BBS. My good fortune with SE razors continues. I get my closest and most comfortable shaves with them.

Another Hawk Shave today which was nice enough, but I am finding that even with a guarded blade the OC version is inclined to bite if not careful. Today’s Shave confirms to me that the A plate works better for me and my beard.
The Star today was the little Omega boar brush which with its soft tips is a pleasure to use, and it easily whips up an abundant lather. This and the 11137 were very popular a few years ago but synthetics seem to have displaced them.

Today I used my Third Hawk, this time the Original V1 which works well with a S/S Handle. The Shave was very nice, I actually enjoyed it more than thee one yesterday with the V3 -OC version, and the finish was just as good too.

Sunday Schick Shave, Feb 13th, 2022

Razor: Schick J1 injector- Mfg 1957-64, great tame mid range, nice handle feeling razor, handle is longer than other models.
Oneblade Core- I like this razor after hair clipping trim to shave the back of my neck, excellent mild razor with a De- spine Gem.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE (6) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap: Gillette Pure cream- nice mild clean scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Viper 24mm boar bristle- my best boar brush for face feel, excellent lather generator, soft split end bristles, nice scrub + great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock American barber with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Schick J1 with a Personna blade.

Razor: Everready 1914(LLC)- Mfg 1914-17, excellent mid range, very efficient, always receive close shaves, Love the audio feedback that this razor generates. Just a joy to use and well built to last the test of time for that era of razors.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(6) excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap: Colonel Conk Bayrum- nice mild scent of Bayrum with excellent lather qualities.(1 tub spent for 2022)
Brush: Yaqi Atlantis 24mm synthetic- excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice scrub + excellent painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: witch hazel cleanse + Ogallala Bayrum with sandal wood + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Everready 1914 with a coated Gem blade.

Tabacstag!
Outstanding shave with the new Supply SE with fins. This was completely irritation free, even on my sensitive neck. The angle was easy to find and there was little chatter from the razor - owing to the injector blade I guess. The shave was also efficient, leaving my face smooth and comfortable.

SE SOTD, Tue, Feb15th, 2022

Razor: TNNSER 3D printed by @twhite - Mfg 2020>Great light weight mid range, takes Gem blades & fairly easy to load by allowing just enough room forwarding the top cap to allow blade in. I always get excellent shaves with this interesting 3D printed razor it seems.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(7) excellent & very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap: Ogallala Bayrum with sage & Cedarwood. I like Bayrum because its a nice change from sweet scents.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Ferrari boar bristle, excellent lather generator, soft split end bristle hairs, nice scrubber, excellent painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Witch hazel beard cleanse + Ogallala sage & cedarwood AS with some(clove) + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=Excellent shave with my TNNSER 3D printed razor with a Gem blade.
