I really should use the La Toja more, it delivers such a great Lather . Would have been very difficult not to have had a good Shave , with the dependable ER 1912 being provided with such a slick lather.

An extremely good Shave today, as I followed up one with a British ER 1912 with its USA cousin a Gem Junior.
I found it more aggressive but not at all uncomfortable, and the finish attained Top Notch.Well worth trying to find one of these Razors as they are very good, the one with the baton Handle is a revealation.

Razor: Yaqi V2 Excalibur AC 50mm-Mfg 2021> Great SE razor, great clamping of blade, very nimble to work the face, I always get excellent shaves with this razor. Very affordable. I have to adjust the top cap manually a little but very easy IMO. Small head parts.
Blade: Schick proline P30- sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity for a AC 50mm blade 5-7 shaves.
Soap: Razorock Lavender- mid range Lavender scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm purple haze synthetic, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like tips, gentle scrub + excellent painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water face & razor rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Yaqi V2 Excalibur with a Schick AC P30.

Sunday Schick shave, March 20th, 2022

Razor: Schick i2 injector with hydro magic- Mfg 1954-57, tame mid range, very enjoyable everything about this razor, easy to clean and can work the face like the E&G types easily + comfortable shave this morning.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE injector(3) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap: Ach Brito Lavanda cream- nice mild lavender scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Moka 2 band badger- excellent lather generator, large pillow like soft tips, great scrubber+ great lather painter.
Pre shave: brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups + razor(testing).
Post shave: Ach Brito Lavanda AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=excellent shave with my Schick i2 injector with a coated Personna blade.

Testing 2 new razor heads from Roger Quintero. These are more aggressive than the Raptor V2. The one on the left is really close to a Gem MMOC and the one on the right is even more aggressive than that. I like them both.
Vintage Williams whipped up with my Ruger brush and newly acquired Williams Aqua Velva (Spanish Version) performed wonderfully.

MMMonday, March 21st 2022, ASRazor shave this morning, Thought I would use the Everready 1914 this morning because of it's patent date March 24th that I seem to forget that day or not using a ASR that day.

Razor: Everready 1914 (AKA, Little Lather Catcher, LLC)Mfg 1914-17, excellent mid range with great audio feed back & a pleasure to use + mostly care free shaving IMO.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(5) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap: Ach Brito Lavanda cream, mild scent of lavender + excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Dandelion cashmere synthetic, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrubber + excellent painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups + razor(testing).
Post shave: Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturising lotion(Scentless)
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=Excellent shave with my ER 1914 with a coated Gem blade.
