Razor :Micromatic open comb(button less variant)-Mfg 1930-32 + 1932-41 button variant for Gem double edge blades, upper mid range, built to last, 1st mass produced TTO in the world and sold millions. Great razor to use for tough beards, excellent design! This razor helped Gem Mfg(ASR) make it through the dirty thirties depression!
Blade :Gem Personna SS PTFE(9) excellent blade, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Razorock Lavender, nice scent of lavender + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi Viper 24mm boar bristle, excellent lather generator, soft split end bristle hairs, great scrub + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless)
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=

Razor : Everready 1924(AKA Shovel head)- excellent mid range, different way of loading a blade from the back, feels good in the hand with my ER Streamline strop handle, excellent audio feed back. Excellent shave this morning.
Blade :Gem Personna SS PTFE(10) excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap :Gillette Pure cream, makes excellent ubber lather, nice scent + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi 24mm tuxedo knot, black marble handle- excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, great scrub + excellent painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel cleanse +Nivea refreshing AS + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless)
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Everready 1924 with a coated Gem blade.

One of my earlier AC/SE Razors the ATT SE1 is still in regular use , as it performs as well as most of the new kids on the block. Shaves with it now are very good , as I have discovered how it works for me with a Freather guarded blade.
Today was good, close and comfortable with seemingly little chance of mishap.

Razor : Yaqi V2 Excalibur AC 50mm,Mfg 2021> excellent simple designed razor, fairly inexpensive, some manual adjustment of top cap. I just keep cranking out excellent shaves, one great carefree shave mostly. Head parts are small so I assemble over wash cloth.
Soap: Tabac, light clean flowery scent with excellent lather qualities
Blade : Schick proline AC,50mm 30P (1) sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity.
Brush : Yaqi Cavern lake 24mm tuxedo knot, Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, great scrubber + excellent painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Fine fresh Vertiver with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless)
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Yaqi V2 Excalibur with a Schick p30. blade.

Sunday injector shave, April 10/2022

Razor : Pal injecto-matic (ASR)- Mfg 1952>?, nice tame mid range, a lot of money and tooling was spent up front for this razor in the 1950's($1,000,000.00 +). I get great shaves and enjoy this razor when it comes up in my random rotation + touch ups.
Blade : Personna SS PTFE(3) excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity, smooths out over time + predictable.
Soap : Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore, nice vanilla very mild scent tobacco. The aftershave has a more a stronger Tabaco scent.
Brush : Yaqi 24mm mountain lake 2 band badger, excellent lather generator, soft pillow like tips, great scrubber +great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless)
Results :9.5/10 or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Pal injecto-matic with a Personna coated blade.
