This week will showcase some of Tom White's creations. I have been blessed to receive more than my share of T.White creations. This week will be with his non-printed creations.

The Eskimo Tuxedo Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 Badger Brush. Two passes and no need for touch ups with the Bunny V3 Injector Razor by T. White with a Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Shaved with the Raster V2 today after using The V3 yesterday.I found that the V2 was smoother anrd more comfortable, with a nice close finish.

Razor: Gem Feather weight 1st Gen- Mfg 1950-52+2nd Gen 1953-54(different cap shape), nice tame mid range, very light(1OZ), handles well mostly carefree, a joy to use & own.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(3) excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap :Razorock Don Marco, nice citrus scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi 24mm 2band badger barber pole, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, nice scrubber + great painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Italian barber AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless)
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=Excellent shave with my Gem Feather weight + a coated Gem blade.

Claymore Evo - Schick Proline P #1 - Cadman Custom - OSP Spice Road Prototype - Old Spice AS - Aloe Vera Gel

Today is a special birthday, so alongside my new Claymore Evo, I decided to use my beloved brush and my all time favourite OSP soap. Such a shame the original Spice Road formula did not make it commercially viable, as this prototype is a close match to the original Shulton Old Spice. The other shame is that the small amount I have left is gradually diminishing.

Fitted with this S/S Handle this Hawk actually performs better for me than the V3- OC. Had a nice Shave today clearing two days growth with ease. Probably the best budget AC/SE Razor that I have used.

The Tabac Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the the original TNNSER Razor by T. White with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor : Gem Junior 1912 Parade with baton handle variant- Mfg 1943, excellent mid range. feels perfect in my hand, shaves like a champ, Gem Mfg(ASE) made millions over the decades. Very popular razor IMO for its time,
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (4) Very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Razorock Don Marco, nice mid range citrus scent + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi Atlantis 24mm knot, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice scrubber + excellent lather painter. Great handle.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : (Italian barber) Razorock Amici AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=Excellent shave with my Gem Jr 1912 parade with a Coated Gem blade.

Razor : Yaqi V2 Excalibur AC 50mm- Mfg 2021> excellent tame mid range, great simple design, easy to find the sweet spot angle, top cap might need some minor manual adjustment. Small razor head parts but does it shave nice for me + daily driver for most IMO.
Blade : Schick proline P30 50mm, sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity for a AC blade.
Soap : Speick, nice mild spicy scent with lavender + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi 24mm viper boar bristle, excellent lather generator, soft split end bristle hairs, nice scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito lavanda AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless)
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Yaqi V2 Excalibur 50mm + a Schick proline P30.

I really love the Henckels Rapide razor. I was first introduced to it when Tom White let me use his for a week. I knew then that I needed my own. Thanks, @twhite .

The Arko Shave Stick Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the J.A. Henckels Rapide Razor with a Henckels Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Schick Sunday shave, April 24th 2022

Razor : Schick E2 Canadian variant- Mfg 1930's-40's no date codes, excellent mid range, 1 OZ weight, easy razor to use & light touch of pressure is required. I can crank out some excellent shaves with this razor that was in rough shape at a Antique store & brought back to life.
Blade : Personna SS PTFE (1) excellent blade, Very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Yaqi Green, nice woodsy fresh scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi mountain lake 24mm 2 band badger, excellent lather generator, soft pillow like tips, great scrubber+ great painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Yaqi Green AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=excellent shave with my Schick E2 Canadian variant with a Personna coated blade.
