So it has been a while since I last used the PAL razor. I got a much better shave than I remember getting before. I did have some skin irritation but do not know if it was from the razor or the soap. The last owner of the soap traded it to me due to skin irritation. I did not have any visible issues after the shave other than a lack of whiskers so the shave will be marked as a win in my book. All in all I got a really nice shave.

Nice razor. Because of the parallel groves and the tabs it makes it an E3. Schick removed the tabs on the E4. The E2 had both the movable spring and the spring that was locked in place. What makes the E2 different from the E3 is the lack of symmetrical grooves on the E2's bar guard.

    Last Night's Shave - 2/14/2018

    1. SPEICK - PRE ELECTRIC Shave Tonic (this is marketed for Electric shaves but works GREAT for a wet shave - this is NOT greasy - has a burn - but it stands my whiskers).
    2. LATHER BROS. FLORA Tallow Shave Soap.
    3. SEMOGUE Synth - Limited Edition Brush.
    4. Personna Floating Head - Modern Japan Schick Twin [2].
    5. Wallgreens - Spray Witch Hazel.
    6. SPEICK after shave lotion.
    7. LATHER BROS. FLORAL a.s. balm.

    Peace, JAMIE

Great setup as usual! Beautiful lather on the brush, and the spray witch hazel has me intrigued. Nice stuff, Jamie!

I have always had an easy time finding lather catchers being from ny but never came across a gjb weirdly. It really flew under the ebay radar somehow.

    Brush: WDC 6
    Soap: Lavenderwood Rustic Shaving

I have been on a SE bender for months now. It was a VERY nice change of pace to use an injector. Especially a Repeater. These deliver DFS+ Shaves with ease.

If I may I would love to be included in the festivities. I would be humbled to be included in the draw @Linuxguile

    Thanks

    Omega 11126 boar
    Fitjar Slattery cream- sample
Ever Ready Natural Angle [ HFT]
    Gem S/S [ 4 ]
    Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion

Four Shaves in on this blade with various Ever Ready Razors, this one today perhaps being the mildest and
most forgiving. Used this Sample cream which has hints of Bay Rum and is nice and Slick. Todays Shave thanks to the Lather was probably one of the best I have had from the British equivalent of the G Bar.
It is a very nice little Razor being very agile and easy to use in all areas that require Shaving.

For those who wish to sample the delights of SE Shaving with a modern look this would be a good Starter,as in terms of performance IMHO would give the modern SE /Gems a run for their money.

    Evening Shave

    Pre-Shave: None
Brush: Brush XIV, 25mm Synthetic Fan Type
    Soap: Williams w/ lemongrass EO
    Razor: PAL De-Luxe Injecto-Matic
    Blade: Chick Schick (3?)
Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse and OSMA Alum block
    Photo:

Last night I was feeling a little lazy so I skipped my pre-shave routine. I added a couple of drops of lemongrass EO to the Williams that still had a little rose smell to it from the last time I used it. It turned out with a very nice scent. I can see my soap stash getting smaller if I can just add different EO scents to a cake of Williams every other time. One cake can become a dozen different one though the like of the cake. I did a two pass shave that gave me a close shave but the Alum block did sting a little. Was it due to the razor and the fact that I haven't quite gotten the angle right or because I didn't do my prep routine? I may never know but will try it again tomorrow.
