Sometimes choices work to your advantage, today this was true as I chose to use a Cream rather than a soap. I am not a big fan of the Kai blade, but today the Razor/Blade worked really well with the lather from the cream and I had a really pleasant Shave. Though the finish was not as close as with other blades it was more than acceptable, and as a bonus my skin felt refreshed from use of the cream.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Tabac Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #105 two-band badger brush. I did two passes with the Henckels Rapide Razor using a Henckels Wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Another excellent shave from the shimmed Superior. I did three passes that left me with a BBS shave. Even 12hrs later I still have what would qualify as a DFS.

Today, 106 years ago, August William Scheuber was granted ⤷the patent for what we now call the "1912".

Enders Speed, Schick Super Stainless Injector, My Father's Face #3. Excellent mild shave . I love the design of the Enders.

This hack uses an Enders blade with the edge trimmed off as a shim to help secure the injector blade. Since there are no blade stops you have to eyeball exposure in setting the Injector blade in place. Not hard.

The prize arrived in the mail yesterday. This is a very cool looking piece of hardware. I have no idea how to work it yet, but I'll figure it out. This is, after all, the first Schick Injector Repeating Razor I've ever examined in person. Thanks Andrew @Linuxguile for your generous contest!

Outstanding shave today. The 1913ish ER was on its game with the PAL blade. First use of Sterling Ozark Mountain. I LIKEY. Finished up with Pinaud Citrus Musk. Just a wonderful two pass and witch hazel touch up shave.

My Second outing with this Razor, but have changed the blade.Perhaps still rather mild for my beard, but so smooth and forgiving that without causing irritation and soreness, I attained a very nice close all round finish. It is a lovely Razor to hold and Shave with.

Got busy last night and did not have time to shave. So I did my 1912 shave this morning. I had a PAL blade that I had used while the bathroom was being remodeled. It had ran it's course and was ready to be disposed of but hadn't gotten around to it yet. I figured I could strop the snot out of it and maybe get a few more shaves out of it. I stropped it fifty times using the Ever Ready Stropping Machine. It helped very little. I got a decent enough shave but was not smooth at all. I did three passes and braced myself for the coming sting of the alum block. Though to my surprise it didn't really happen. There was some light sting in the normal places but that was about it. The blade will now go into the used blade bank. All in all the shave was a success that left me with a good shave and the knowledge that you can not bring a blade back to life once it has been pronounced "DONE".

The Revere injector is so smooth. Easy to use, perhaps a slight novelty, but a terrific razor nonetheless. Great results. Enjoy your day!
