How is the La Fougere Parfaite?

 

The scent is amazing...just like Brut, as I remember it.

I am traveling on business, using water I don't know the hardness of. I probably didn't use enough water last night, but still got an amazing shave. Hitting it again tonight and will use a bit more water in the mix. WK is awesome!!

My initial thoughts on this Razor have been dispelled over the last Two days. I confirmed with a second Shave that this Razor though appearing to be mild, is capable of delivering great Shaves if one is prepared to take a little longer over the Shave.

During the Shave it is so smooth , it is possible to remove every stubborn bits of growth without causing any soreness or irritation post Shave. The quality of overall finish is probably as good as any I have attained with any Injector [inc PALs] confined to use of a single blade , and certainly the smoothest and most comfortable Injector that I have used.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The L'OCCITANE Cade Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #105 two-band badger brush. I did two passes with the Henckels Rapide Razor using a Henckels Wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Was able to get a second shave in yesterday evening. Pulled The General and a fresh Pink blade out of storage. Did two passes, and even 12hrs later I am still BBS.

 

It was one of the early episodes from 1973. Trapper, and Frank Burns were in the scene also.

I do not have one of those but I love the other L models I have.

 

Great Williams Wednesday shave.

 

DeHaven Diplomat, Schick Pro-line AC blade, AOS Sandalwood. More care required than using a standard injector razor but a very fine two pass BBS shave. Diplomat requires the @twhite adapter.
