    Pitralon Blue A/S Lotion

Seems like this Razor/Blade combo suits me, as prior to this change of blade I managed to get 15 good shaves from a Proline. Not bad considering that I have got a reasonably strong growth and need to shave daily.

The feel of the fresh blade was quite noticeable, reminding me just to take time and care during the Shave. With an excellent lather the Shave went very smoothly, and I attained a nice close all round finish with no mishaps.

    Blade: Schick Injector (1)
    Brush: Semogue 610
    Lather: Arko Shave Stick
Aftershave: Mixture Aqua Velva Musk/Clubman/Lilac Vegetal

I wasn't going to shave with this again so soon, but I spent a little time on it with some metal polish (wasted a blade in the process); It looked so good I had to shave with it again today. image-7ab38867-c9bc-4478-a3a7-184f2281bf2e~01~01.jpg

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 badger brush. I did two passes with the Schick F with a Schick Proline B20 blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Spring may not have sprung but a bit of sunshine was a good excuse to break out the lime.
And over 30hrs without a shave was a good excuse to break out the very efficient E2.
Both good calls and the V-L brush is loosing it's scritch, a very enjoyable shave was had.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

How about a little Tabac for Tuesday!! The 1305 loved it and it gave great glide to the 1913ish ER.

    Vulfix 404 mixed
    Vitos Super Red
ES Claymore V1 & Windrose Handle
    Schick Proline [ 13 ]
    Massimo Dutti A/S Lotion

Interesting that when using this Razor ,almost without thinking I reach for this Brush/ Soap. A very wise move as
the Vitos does lather rather well, and allows the Claymore to work smoothly and efficiently. I have really got to like the Claymore , with its satin finish it might not be as finely finished as other S/S SE - but for me it delivers
a First Class Shave in all aspects. Just glad I got hold of this rather unappreciated Razor.

Supply Co. Single Edge injector v.2 on two-dot plate / Personna (5)
Jayaruh #267 birdseye maple and Omega Pro 49 boar knot brush
    Vitos Eucalyptus shaving cream
    Clubman Jeris Osage Rub

I have been using this setup for the last week and will continue to do so until the end of the month. I have two new Jayaruh brushes with Omega Pro 49 boar knots in them -- this one and #276 white ash and boar. I am alternating them face lathering this rather strong smelling cream both to break them in and to de-funk the boar knots. Also to try the eucalyptus cream (and aftershave) for a period of time to see if I notice any particular benefits from the eucalyptus for my skin tone.

I stated on the 30DC thread that I would use this setup until one or all of three things happened: the boar knots stopped smelling, the cream ran out, or the blade in the injector razor fell apart. So far, on use 5, all are going strong.
