    I don't use an injector razor, but I picked up a Schick Stick in the wild today; I thought it would make a nice display piece. How do I remove the old blade that's still in it? Thanks.

    richgem suffering from chronic clicker hand cramps

    Easiest to do with a set of injector blades, even if the injector pack is empty. If you're really careful and gentle, you can also manage with a small flat head screw driver (to act as the "key") and a pair of needle nose pliers.

    You owe it to yourself to try one if you haven't. Easiest, closest, and most comfortable shaves I've ever had were with an injector.

    Are the newer injectors a better shave than the older ones made in the 30's to 40's. I have an older one but see the newer style and the adjustable dial ones on here alot more. Just wondering what people think esp if they have used both old and newer

    The older E type injectors tend to be more aggressive than the later models, except for the M which can be dialed. In addition the handles are larger on later models so that could have something to do with it as well.

    For me the newer ones do seem smoother. I got good shaves with a G-type but significantly better with an I, J, or M. Just got an L so I'll have to wait until I use it to say on that one.

    The razor cleaned up quite nicely. I was surprised to discover that the handle is plastic. I thought it would be metal.
