I am very pleased that I had another super Shave today. Though the Soap/ Razor was different I used a Schick Proline on both occasions each one on its 5th outing.These blades are proving to work well for me in most Razors , but will try out a Feather Pro again before I order more Schicks.

PS Done a stock check only got Type P as a trial, so ordered 2 carts of 30 each.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #270 brush. I did two passes with the RazoRock Black Hawk Razor with a Feather Professional SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor: Cobra Classic
Blade: Schick Proline P
Post: Cold water rinse, Proraso Red ASL

It's not rocket science is it? Decent equipment leaves your skin smooth and feeling great.
The hard (fun) bit is discovering what your skin finds decent.

The RazoRock HAWK V2 with a new Proline blade.... This is similar to the Aluminum General, but more mild.. Amazing how it tamed the very sharp proline....

 

Thanks, Fuzzy! What is the difference? Was there a lather catcher that isn't Superior?

My second Shave with the King Cobra, this time with the slightly shorter Barberosa Kaylon handle.
Generally a much better Shave than the first one, especially around the neck but I did not get it quite right at the corners of my mouth. This time however I must have used a lighter touch as I did not have to resort to an application of Alum.

M1 on setting 8 for a nice shave. Really enjoy this razor. Have a great day!

 

Veddy good way to put it. I can nit tell a difference in the GEM and Superior. The ones with the Superior name on them seem harder to find. They are all a classy shave. Just for the record the auto strop A's are classy too.

 

Too busy at work for a proper report. I shaved with a schick N and a single blade. Veddy nice shave. Work will slow down in about a week and proper reports to come.

 

Ohhh, so the Superior Lather Catcher is not a GEM razor? I wasn't aware of that!
