Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: GEM PTFE
    Razor: Superior Lather Catcher
Brush: Satin Tip 'The Purest' synthetic
    Soap: Palmolive shave stick
    Post: Witch hazel, Brut aftershave

Terrific shave with the Superior lather catcher. Smooth and easy to use. Great SE razor and I'm glad to have one now. Jayaruh made me a new handle to go with the razor to replace the metal handle that didn't match. Very nice all around. Have a great weekend!

I own the aluminum RazoRock Hawk V2 and The aluminum Colonial General. I used both for a few days, both had Schick Proline blades. I love the look and design of the HAWK V2 but it was just a little too mild for me, the design is so good that it tames a very sharp blade, this would a great beginner razor. The Colonial General has more blade feel and it is simply an amazing razor.

A DRAKKAR NOIR SHAVE - I acquired a PAL adjustable a year ago & finally used for the first time, Fun shave! but I still like the injecto-matic better - I used the middle setting, next time I will go with the most aggressive setting.
    Peace, Jamie

August 17th - Shave of the Night!
Lather Bros. continues to release cool new scents & there really making fun and cool labels! There tallow soap is just great & there thick and cooling balm is in my top 3 for artisan balms (Soap Commander, PAA star jelly, & lather bros are my favorites). I got another Lady Everysharp - for under 10 bucks! and it came with the Blannk/dummy blade - so this was a virgin razor until last night - as always it was a great shave and the vintage schick chromium was perfect - the plus platinums feel sharper for me & I think the chromiums were the bargain blade that schick offered back in the day? either way its still a great blade - Peace, Jamie

Yup. Not a GEM. Identical design as far as I can tell though.

    Supply V1 & V2 No 3 plate
    Schick Proline [ 2 ]

Skipped my usual Injector Shave and used this modern version. With a revised No3 plate I get a good shave but not outstanding, and actually prefer using my Vintage favourites, though i suppose the "O" clone is not Vintage.

    Gem Junior Bar Lather Catcher

    Tabac AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #270 brush. I did two passes with the Gem Junior Bar Lather Catcher Razor with an Original Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

You can't go wrong with that setup. Congrat's on the job with the new company.

The Schick B was like a cow munching hay..... outstanding in its field. The Erasmic is older and a very solid soap with the Vie Long Horse. Stetson is of course awesomelicious.

    RazoRock Plissoft 22mm
    P & B Pall Mall
    PAL S/S Adjustable
    Schick Proline [ 7 ]
    Myrsol Antesol A/S Lotion

After the Supply SE followed it up with use of a PAL Adjustable, a long time favourite injector of mine. I reckon that the design of the Supply is inspired in many ways by this and the Personna S/S injector. I had not used the PAL for some time and quite enjoyed its use, and the quality Shave it delivered.

These days I am tending to favour use of the larger AC/ SE as I like the feel of their broader stroke,as despite their size I have no problems Shaving in tighter areas such as around the upper lip/nose.

    Brush: Stirling Kong synthetic

Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Glacial Lemony Orange aftershave

Not quite as efficient today with the Lather Catcher. Not sure why. Could've been simple Monday morning grogginess. Needed a little more clean-up than usual but ended up with a nice shave. Enjoy your day!
