    wchnu Duck Season!

How do you rate the G3?

I much prefer the 1914 over the 1924. Dunno why as both shave great.

There are plenty that are just better to me. I get great shaves...just not my favorite razor.

    This is the answer.

    Very well put. BULLY!!!

After yesterday's frugal Friday shave I decided to stay with the vibe, and have a scrimping Saturday shave.
"How was it?", I hear someone ask, I turned my head 180°, no one there, being possessed isn't all that don'tcha know?
Well, the shave was so good I almost.....

..... got out of the rabbit hole.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

    Blade: Personna Ultra Chrome
    Razor: Schick E2 injector
    Brush: JR #41 badger
    Soap: Stirling Scots Pine Sheep
Post: Witch hazel, RazoRock Blue Barbershop aftershave

Nice shave with the E2 injector. Been quite a while since I used this razor. It can bite if you're not careful so I used very slight pressure and got a great shave.

The G3 is one of the best Injectors I have tried. I may rate the D ahead of it, but I think the Gs are a great combination of efficiency and smoothness.

Webp.net-resizeimage (1).jpg Is there any way to get rid of this kind of stain on a razor without killing the finish? Is this the finish as it originally was, or has all the gold plating gone? I know little to nothing about them!

Try brasso. As far as I know they are just brass razors..not gold plated or anything. Heck if it gets messed up they are easy to find.

What do you use on pot's, and pan's in the UK?. Get something that is made for cleaning brass, or copper.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Eureka Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #314 badger brush. I did two passes with the Heljestrand Safety Razor with a Heljestrand Wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with FD Old Spice AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
