Thanks to a couple of great guys from here and across the street I get to try some great things.
@twhite for letting give his push button a spin, and @wchnu for the brush stand and the cream.
Next week will be the auto strop fuzzy lent me, then into my own new purchases.
Thanks again for the push button, it is a great shaver!

Amen Brutha! The GEM MMOC is simply amazing! Also its fairly easy to find a mint one for a good price.. I guess some folks have issues with it being aggressive and I read all the "hype" before using it for the first time - so I was ready for a tough 1st shave - NOOOOOOOOOO - I immediately found the angle and also found it forgiving - I immediately had a amazing shave with the MMOC, think I will bust it out tonight - I have several..

Totally agree - this razor is a STRONG SILENT TYPE! haha - and yes the angle has NO PLAY - if u get that correct -u are good - this reminds me of the SUPPLY razor - did you get that too?

To me the B1 has a little more room for error. With the Supply you have to be dead on or it won't cut a single whisker. I find the B razor to be easier than the Supply as far as angle.

I think he meant not so easy to pick up another razor. I might be wrong though.

Great shave before work today. The G3 works as good as it looks.

For me the OCMM is about the only razor I really have to pay attention too. If you do not pay enough attention it bites. Kinda like my Ex wife.

Funny old game this shaving business.
With me it's the Streamline and 1924 which require complete concentration.
I find the MMOC very smooth and very manoeuvrable.

I agree about it being smooth. It just bites if given the chance. The OCMM started me into the SE love actually.

As with everything else in this hobby it's a case of ymmv.
My first SE was the British E-R 1912, love at first stroke.

No Shave reports for a couple of days as away and officiating yesterday. How on earth do you guys who work manage to do daily SOTD reports I do not know.

Over the weekend I used an N3 as a travelling Razor, but the Shave was not too good as Bathroom Lighting was poor, SWMBO had problems putting on make up. Yesterday I had a quick Sunday Shave before going out, that was good as I used my dependable Type F.

A new week so decided on a Vintage SE rotation, which I always commence with a fresh blade and invariably an ER "Streamline". I find that the "Streamline" works well with a fresh blade, and today was no exception. I am lucky in that I have developed quite a light touch whilst Shaving, and this definitely essential whilst using a "Streamline".

I really enjoyed the Shave today it was so smooth and the Razor/Blade combo very efficient, that the Finish Quality was up there with the best I have got from any other type of Razor. This is definitely my No 1 Vintage SE Razor , but it does take some getting used to.

An excellent beginning to the week. The Pushbutton has gone up in my estimation, once learned it's not a bad little razor.

    A Stirling SEptember

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: GEM PTFE
    Razor: GEM Micromatic Open Comb
    Brush: Artisan badger
    Soap: Stirling Glacial Lemony Orange
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Glacial Lemony Orange aftershave

MMOC today. It's been quite a while since I've used one of these. Today's shave was smooth and comfortable. My technique has definitely improved since I used one of these the last time and that was evident today. Keep the cap basically flat against your face and use light pressure. Smooth results ensued.

    Enjoy your day!

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Ingram Shaving Cream face lathered well with the Alpha T-400 Silvertip Badger brush. I did two passes with the Supply Provision Safety Razor with a Schick Proline B20 blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
