Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Personna
    Razor: Schick B1
    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave

Smooth sailing with the Schick B1. This razor is virtually silent when shearing whiskers, but it's certainly efficient. Love the comfortable feel. Excellent lather from The Fat and post-shave from the Fine American Blend. Great Friday shave. Enjoy your day!

    Gem Flying Wing

    Pinaud Clubman AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Cella Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #47 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem Flying Wing Safety Razor with a Gem Blue Star CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Schick Twin -Japan
    La Toja A/S lotion.

I used this combo every day on holiday, and found it perfect for getting close to the mirror, in a poorly lit Hotel Bathroom. Not being in a rush helped as all my Daily Shaves were smooth and comfortable, and pleasingly close all round. Nearly as smooth as the Dolphins we saw from a restaurant on a bridge spanning the Bosphorus, whilst having a meal on our last night.

The only E1, I found was just by looking closely at pictures of lots for sale...Thats how you find those. It's only when someone doesn't know what they have, that you can find those...Otherwise they get snatched up before we get the chance...They are easy to identify...Just keep watching those lots...

This is a banner-worthy pic. I love the warm lighting. The photo actually imparts a fragrance in and of itself. Very nicely done, @Hodge .

Thanks. The lamp on my night stand provides this lighting effect. :D

    Getting Better
Today's shave was better - more comfortable but with a couple weepers. I noticed that the razor left a gap in the lather on one side when I shaved so I replaced the blade. Tomorrow will tell if that was the right move. My skin feels a little tighter, if that makes any sense. Maybe it's time to use more balms.

Nice setup and photo, Paul! @PickledNorthern let me try his Supply for a while. It provided a close shave but I never had a shave with it without a weeper. It works really well for some folks but I found it wasn't for me.

    Straight Razor: Offenbach Solingen

Thanks Perry. I can’t imagine how high tech these razors must have been, when they were introduced.

Holidays are nice, but always good to be home especially to be shaving in your own Bathroom.
Had an extremely smooth and comfortable Shave without having to peer into a mirror, as the Hotel Bathroom was low lit.
