SE2/Proline. Only two shaves in but somewhat ambivalent. Razor is unnecessarily heavy which makes it something of a chore on the head shave, and while very efficient it seems to get tuggy where my MMOC does not.[IMG]

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Personna
    Razor: Schick B1 repeater
Brush: Ever Ready 100T restored badger
    Soap: Stirling Ozark Mountain
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Ozark Mountain aftershave

Another smooth and comfortable shave with the B1. A couple of weepers just below my chin, so perhaps a bad angle or too much pressure there, but no big worries. Enjoyable shave overall. Enjoy your weekend!

I love that scent by Stirling! I worked a family farm in Arkansas close to the Ozarks, and the scent is on point with the cool spring air!

Used the British version of the G Bar, and it is a rather nice Razor. I spent a bit of extra time polishing up today and was more than happy at the quality of the finished Shave, especially as the blade has had its day.

    Jayaruh #206
    J.A. Henckels Safety Razor
    J.A. Henckels wedge
    CWR
    Aqua Velva Musk AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 brush. I did two passes with the J.A. Henckels Safety Razor with a J.A. Henckels wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Nope. Just a synthetic dubbed "Tribble Hybrid" with unbelievable performance. The "hybrid" notation refers to the shape lying somewhere between bulb and fan. Super soft, good backbone, amazing splay range, and excellent face/scalp presence. The brush retails for $12.95.
