    Vulfix 404 mixed
    Vitos Super Red
    Alu General /Claymore Handle
    Schick Proline [ 6 ]
    Pitralon Original A/S Lotion

Rather than switch Razor types, I did a repeat Shave with the Alu. General, changing the brush and soap. I am now sure that I have cracked shaving with these lighter AC/ SE , now I slow down the shave I am really getting good results. No wonder I had problems with Carts years ago , like many I treated Shaving as a chore and most likely rushed it besides using gels and the like.

Well today was good, and I truly appreciated how the rich creamy lather from the Vitos really contributes to the efficiency of a Shave. Seems a shame that this inexpensive Barbershop soap has fallen out of favour, with Artisan soaps being very popular.

    Cold Water Wash
    CTAPT Shaving Cream
    Jayaruh #30
    1907 Gem Jr.
    Original Gem Cutlery SE
    CWR
    Granddad's AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The CTAPT Shaving Cream face lathered well with the Jayaruh #30 brush. I did two passes with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher Razor with an Original Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Granddad's AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This is one of my favorite weekend set ups. Vintage hardware adds such a wonderful experience to a luxury Sunday shave.

    Mon 10th Dec.

    RazoRock Syn.22mm
    Lea Classic Soap
    Supply SE V1 / V2 No3 plate
    Personna S/S [ 1 ]
    Lea Classic A/S lotion

This is a Razor I really want to like, but despite beefing it up with the most aggressive plate , it does not deliver an ultra close finish. Today I decide to try a Personna blade which has never been a favourite of mine, but supplied
    by the Razor Maker.
I actually found it to be quite effective, and the Shave was quite smooth with what I would call a good work day finish.
Probably my best Shave so far with this Razor, I will probably give it a run out over a few days to evaluate its performance with this blade.

I love Ozark Mountain soap! I grew up close to those mountains, hunted there alot, that is very close to what it smells like on a spring morning.
