Just wondered how you like your OneBlade. I love mine (Genesis V2). I use the Feather blade and usually Stirling soap. I have "old man's syndrome" = tough beard and sensitive skin. This razor and blade gives me the best and most consistent shaves. Better than my Paradigm SE and Rex Ambassador. However, I need to try some other blades in my Paradigm SE.

Great shave this morning! Took me an extra pass, but I think the gem blade is about done. For 7 shaves, I'll take it.
Y'all go out and seize the day!

Yo @Karl G (and all my Schick-head friends)
I know you were looking out for me, for a WWII Navy issued Schick like my Pop had.

And calling @Billyfergie ...Yo BF, what to you think my last word on injectors Majesty...Is this the real deal? Its not huge, cause Im sure I'm going to really dig this razor...But I'm thinking this is a WWII US Military Issue. Thoughts?

Well his didn't have the cream or black handle, his had a Butterscotch handle with red swirls mixed in...And a red clamshell case (I can never find one with this)...and black military blade dispenser.

I remember my Dad was so impressed by this. He said he was the Fire Control Officer (thats the cat who aims the cannons) on a Distroyer going from Boston to the South Pacific by way of Cuba. First night out he opened that red leather case and saw that beautiful razor, and it made him feel great, that the Navy spared no expense on their guys! After that he only used Schicks for the rest of his life (another 60 years).

And because of that story...I've always looked for one of these.}8^))

I just copped this! I think this is it! What do you think? You're the expert on these!

    Very cool!

I have never seen a red cased one and they are described as the rarest of the WWII issued Schicks: http://www.safetyrazors.net/schick/schicktech.htm (see the E descriptions.) :happy093:

I have two with the blue case. The black injector is definitely military but the razors I have are both white plastic handles - just like the G Types. The head is an E3 with the parallel grooves. However, yours being in the red case means these could have been a different variety than those in the blue cases - or (wah wah wah) a mismatched good looking E3 in WWII issued packaging.

Hopefully someone else knows more than me!

    Happy shaving - Karl :happy088:

This! This is why I love vintage razors so much. They often elicit stories such as these. Thank you so much for sharing not only the pics of the beautiful Schick, but more importantly, the story.

    Lol!!
I do know there were E2s and E3s that were Issued..But I don't know for sure if this set is all original...The cat I bought it from said the guy he got it from said it was all original..But, my guy said, I think it is...But I wasn't there when it was issued and it wasn't my Grandads...lol! But he also said those cases are so rare...he couldn't imagine some guy having an extra red case in this great shape to use for some other razor the same age and same condition.

But it was a great price...And I would have paid more for just the razor, without the other stuff...Sooo..

The important thing, remains to be seen...Hopefully it will arrive so I can shave with it by this Friday. I have high hopes...So far every E2 I have shaved with. I have loved.

    (To Be Continued)

    Tue 11th Dec.

    Omega 11126 boar
    Cyril Salter Solid soap
    Supply SE V1 & V2 No 3 plate
    Personna S/S [ 1 ]
    Pitralon Polar A/S lotion

After Shaving yesterday with the Supply/Personna and getting a not bad Shave, I decided on another outing. This time with a fresh blade which was Injected as the previous one was loaded by hand. Despite me having a V1 body fitted with a V2 plate loading the blade was very easy.
I slowed down the Shave from yesterday, and it was very smooth but more importantly - was my first ever Face Stroking finish from this Razor, so was really pleased.

Glad to see you liked the G Bar too! I tried mine out for the first time on Sunday. Wow, what a shave. I found the shaving angles perfect, especially working ATG on the neck. Smooth shave and no irritation!

Thank you. I just received the cabinet yesterday. Only need to cut a replacement mirror.
The SunRay is a real looker. A great shave to boot. Just like all 1912’s
