As efficient as the SE2? Nope. More enjoyable shave? Yep. Noticeably milder than my E2 but way better handling, not to mention the coolest design ever.[IMG]

    yesterday's shave
    sink of lukewarm water
dove shave cream massaged in with warm water
brass micromatic open comb w/a new blade
    2 passes
    3 nicks!!!
I had a desire to use this razor after spotting it while cleaning up a room in the house. Now I remember why I quit using this razor. There seems to be some blade movement even when the cap is tightened fully.I have not had this many nicks in a long time.Had to use the winter cold water to stop the bleeding along with some finger pressure.followed up with a mix of Osage Rub and a Skin bracer mix I make.Whooaah, some serious menthol there.

    today's shave
    sink of lukewarm water
bump stopper tea tree gel massaged in with warm water
chrome micromatic open comb w/yesterdays blade
    2 passes
    1 old nick was reopened
I found this razor and remembered it was a good shaver and wanted to try it as a comparison to yesterday's fiasco..A much smoother shave with no feel of blade movement ,all was good uhtil the last pass where I reopened the large nick from yesterday.Followed up with a cool water rinse and a splash of Shave Den Russian leather which left me feeling sooth and refreshed.

    Wed 19th Dec-Williams Wednesday

    Omega 11126 boar
    Williams Mug Soap
Schick E2- Canada. WW2 Naval Issue
    Schick S/S -Japan [ 3 ]
    Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion

After a week of Shaves with a Supply SE , I thought it appropriate to use an E2 that I had compared it to. I think I may have forgotten just how smoothly that this E2 shaved , a bit more aggressive than the Supply. The quality of the finished Shave was better than yesterday but the blade is fresher too . I just wonder how things will pan out as the blade ages

    Williams Mug Shaving Soap

    RazoRock Black Hawk

    CWR
    Florida Water

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #2 brush. I did two passes with the RazoRock Black Hawk Razor with a Feather Professional blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This was only the second shave with this lovely black handled Canadian E3 - even though I’ve had it since September 2015. Glad it got back into action - very nice, smooth, easy, close shave. :happy036:

And yes...I used the Barbasol Original with a '30's razor...and I did enjoy every stroke...And ended with a soft, polished BBS...

And this was no surprise...But the surprise is...I think my new E2 might be just as good..

    Schick Twin -Japan [ 8 ]
    Pitralon Classic A/S

Though I quite enjoyed the Shave today, I felt that my concentration was a bit off as the finish in areas such as the tip of the chin was not good. Not at all what I expected from this Razor /Blade combo as previously results have always been very good.
