    Gem MM- Bullet Tip
    Gem S/S [ 1 ]
    Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion

As a follow up to yesterdays Shave, I used another one of the Micromatic family - the Bullet Tip. I am afraid that this quite minty model has been neglected too , perhaps because I have been trying to get better shaves with the HFT/ Push Button.
Today loaded with a fresh blade , the Razor is quite mild and forgiving compared with the Open Comb. However, the Shave is very smooth and the overall quality of finish is very good. This really would be a superb Razor for a newcomer to Vintage SE to start with, especially those put off by the looks of the 1912/1914, as the Bullet Tip looks quite modern in comparison.

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: vintage Personna Ultra Chrome
    Razor: Schick L5 'Revere'
    Brush: Surrey badger
    Soap: Speick shave stick
    Post: Witch hazel, Speick aftershave

L5 today. Smooth shaving. Lather wasn't the best I've had but the razor worked as it should. Nice all around. Have a great day!

    Jayaruh #326
    Micromatic Open Comb
    Gem Blue Star CS SE
    CWR
    Osage Rub

My prep was just a cold water rinse. However, after a discussion about Proraso Pre-Shave earlier, I decided to use it on today's shave. After the CWR, I applied the Proraso. It has a very nice feel and added another level of slickness to the shave. The Kiss My Face Cool Mint Shaving Cream face lathered well with the Jayaruh #326 synthetic horse brush. I did two passes with the Micromatic Open Comb razor with a Gem Blue Star CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    It's Shave Cream Week!!!

    Schick E3 razor
    Personna blade
    FS/WD Boar brush
    Taconic Eucalyptus Mint SC
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    Taconic Eucalyptus Mint A/S

Lovely shave to start the week with. The E3 is a dream to use; close, comfortable and very efficient. I really like it. I also really really like the Frank Shaving/Whipped Dog boar brush. The FS handle feels great in hand and the WD boar knot is exceptional (to me) in that it is very very soft and makes great lathers so easily. It's hard not to use it every day, it's that good. Anyway, enough of me rambling. All is well and my face is very happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Ever-Ready Shovelhead on a Weber Bulldog Handle
    Nivea Post Balm
    Pinuad Clubman Classic

Second test run of the shovelhead this morning. This a great razor and does an amazing job.
No weepers or nicks. Just a nice comfortable shave with very little alum burn. I completed two passes and cleaned up a few areas on the neck.
Finished up with some Nivea post balm and Clubman classic

Y'all take care and have a great day!

You are welcome Fuzzy. Really enjoying the shovelhead. I think it is calling for a little Williams. I will probably break that out for the next shave. I have test run Williams a couple of times last week and I am impressed with the humble little soap.

WWB Jungle Ebonite (26mm, Frigate Class)
Stirling Deep Blue Sea soap and AS

First go with the Blackland Sabre L2 and I'm very impressed. Medium aggression in the blade feel department but after two passes I was near BBS, I did a third pass to seal the deal. Smooth shave and am smelling great thanks to Deep Blue Sea! I didn't notice any shed hairs today out of the Maggard mixed knot, it does still have a fair bit of scritch to it though. Have a great Monday my Friends!
