    Alcolado Glacial A/S Splash

After a couple of DE Shaves, rather nice to feel the more rigid blade in the SE as making the first passes. It was a Streamline that made me make the transition from DE to SE, as with one I get trouble free Shaves with a top quality finish. In fact it is fair to say
I learnt SE Shaving with a Streamline, as after using a heavier DE razor I preferred its weight to that of an ER 1912.

    Almalfi Basil Lemon
    Jayaruh #340 Badger
    Dad's Schick E3
    Personna Injector

    Lucky Tiger

Today's shave is in honor of my Dad who would have turned 105 on this, his birthday. I will be using his E3 this week. He made the wooden handle for it.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Almalfi Basil Lemon Shaving Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #340 Badger brush. I did two passes with Dad's Schick E3 razor with a Personna Injector blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The Almalfi Basil Lemon soap is from Vintage Life on TOST.

Ingredients: Tallow rendered from beef renet, coconut oil, castor oil, shea butter, vitamine E oil, Holy basil and lemon essential oils.

    SHAVE OF THE WEEK!

    Schick E3 razor
    Personna blade
    FS Silver Tip brush
    Arko SS
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    Barbasol Brisk A/S w/added menthol

The above items gave a right dandy shave this morning and my face is very happy. Not going to change the setup for the week cuz this one worked so well and I don't feel like doing something different everyday just because. Well, might change the A/S but that would be all. Now go enjoy your day folks

I'm not finding it anywhere for a price I want to pay. I'd love some, since I like the Brisk AS, but looks like the Pacific Rush AS is discontinued.

[IMG] Finally received my GEM jr Lather catcher"New Bar" 1901 &1902 pat and it was in rough condition and because of my background as a repair Machinist...... I brought this interesting razor back to life. This is my first shave with a Gem Personna SS PTFE (1)and I have to be honest this razor is such a good shaver that if plastic did not come along I have know doubt they would still be MFG these. It's not overly aggressive(mid range) but efficient and smoothness combined. Could it be how I repaired or it's just naturally a winner I would say the later.
I'm going to use it for over a week + and do a evaluation on this "GEM".

There is just something oh so satisfying about eliminating weekend beard growth with an SE. The MMCP sang as it made four days worth of growth disappear.

That kind of work is right in the Clog prufs wheel house. The best part is that they work just as good an a everyday shave!!
