A nice way to end this rotation with one of my favourites. A lovely smooth and comfortable Shave, with a Top Class Close all round finish. I find it hard to believe that there are those out there who do not like an ER "Streamline", for me a Rolls Royce of British ER Razors.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #356 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Ever-Ready Bathroom Set razor with a Gem Blue Star CS blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Started this new rotation with this very nice E2. With this Japanese Schick blade it not only is smooth and comfortable, but forgiving a word not commonly use with an E2, a great finish too. I must remember on this rotation to use some of my seldom used Injectors i.e. The ones that need
more care when being used - a B or C spring to mind.

 

The Zenith, is that an aluminum or the chromed copper? I have a chromed copper version, and I love it.

The exact same shave I had this morning, except I used an Omega 49 and a Blackland Sabre. The Aqua Velva was what they were selling in the PX, but still good stuff. What version Aqua Velva is that? Something they sell in Europe? Looks like good stuff either way. Loving the pictures.

All, I love the pictures. I wish I had the photography skills you guys have. Every picture I've taken you can tell it was done with a Samsung Phone Camera. I'd ask for tips, but I wouldn't understand one thing you would say. Had a GF long time ago that was a photographer. Everything she ever said to me just flew over my head. I supported her efforts and career choices, but dang, everything she said would put me to sleep. Now if she was talking CPU/FPU electronics architecture I would have been all over it.

Anyway, I'm rambling again. Happy shaves everyone.

This is my first shave with a genuine AutoStrop blade. I am doing this challenge to see how many good shaves I can get from one blade by stropping them. My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #356 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the AutoStrop B1 razor with a Valet blade and unfortunately did not get a close shave. I ended up cleaning up with my ER 192 Bathroom Set to get that close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I am in post production with the video. I will see if maybe another Valet blade will do any better, and then maybe go to a Gem CS blade if the Valet does not work out.

Thanks for the compliments! The AS was bought in a large French Supermarket when I was on holiday a few years back
