The Blade in the E2 yesterday was definitely on the wane , as the Shave today with the PAL was so much better. The PAL is one of my favourite Injectors as I find that it delivers smooth Shaves with a great finish, today being no exception.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #356 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the AutoStrop B1 razor with a Treet SE despined blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Today's Shave was with an old Love...

You can find these all day long on the Bay for veddy liw prices. All I can say is What A Great Razor! Alan introduced me to this one a few years ago..It sent me on s search for the original shovelhead, the ER1909.

I got one and it is a true Holy Grail and one of the best Evah! But I have to add...the whole De Mesquita 1909 progeny share the same DNA. What a great family of shavers..I was smitten from my first stroke...I can't think of anything I would change. The Shovelheads Rock!

Notice my Clubman Musk bottles...I don't want to be without it!! Great stuff!!

Just one of those Days when everything clicked. Brush/ Soap = Great Lather + good Razor/ Blade combo =Smooth Comfortable Shave with superb close all round finish. Without doubt my best ever Shave with a Razor I nearly gave up on.
