The schick that says dial came out first and then the one that says adjustable came out later. So the ones that say dial are older. Mine says dial .

If my research is correct yours is an M2 because M1 said dial

    M1: "Schick Dial" Injector Razor
Handle insert with name. No dot on knob.
    Packaging: Black plastic clamshell case
with clear lid (65-66). White plastic
clamshell, clear lid, red liner (66-68).
M2: "Adjustable by Schick" Injector Razor
Handle insert, Dot on knob with cross.
    Packaging: Various plastic cases.
    M3: Schick Injector "Adjustable Razor"
No spine insert, black dot on knob)
    Packaging: yellow blister pack.

Interesting. So maybe mine is actually an M2. I'll have to look closer at it when I get home.

Just keep in mind that the numbering system was just an attempt to classify the various Schick models by Alan Appleby. There are some models that exist that aren't in his classification, like this early model Schick Adjustable:

Thats also very true my g type isnt in his classifications mine has the blue handle and the gold head and has been discussed here before... That looks similar to the m3 in your pic. Whats different?

Large round metal adjuster knob that goes from 1-10. This was actually the first Schick Adjustable model and would either be an M0 or it would bump all of the other adjustables by one number in the classification.

As far as modern SE Razors go the King Cobra really is rather good looking. I may have taken leave of my senses as I have agreed to let it go to make way for a new arrival. I am questioning my decision as Todays Shave was so good, quite quick but with a super close finish which was a reward for my concentration. The KC is a great Razor but could prove a bit of a disaster for those new to SE Razors.

Really 24hrs since my last shave, guess a lot of you guys are taking time out over the weekend. I need to be presentable as again officiating today, thankfully nearing the end of the League Matches and with travel time away for 8 hours.
A quite nice relaxed Shave this morning as after the King Cobra the Mongoose seems very forgiving, and the Shave was relatively quick and resultant in a
good close all round finish likely to last the day.

Always looking forward to my Sunday shave and was reading some information on the Everready 1924 Shovelhead and people's thoughts about it were varied like the usual and I found my ER shovel head a nice mid range on the milder side razor and gave a decent shave. Very forgiving and enjoyable with a small sweetspot for angle of approach.(great shave)
Razor: Eveready 1924 Shovelhead razor(handle is from a streamline strop )
Blade: GEM Personna SS PTFE (1)
    Soap : Razorock Lavender
Brush : Omega boar brush(my only boar)
Preshave: wet the face and apply a warm face cloth for 40 seconds X2 + Aloe vera gel
Post shave: Alum block + cold water rinse
Post shave: Razorock Emperor + witch hazel + a small amount of Nivea balm
    Result : CCS,DFS,BBS = :eatdrink047::happy088:

Thanks to the generosity of Brian (@madmedic), I got to try the Clubman soap. My local Superdrug doesn't stock it and he very kindly sent me two cakes. :eatdrink047: Brian.
Second shave with this blade and it's much smoother, but this lather had a lot more cushion than the Tallow and Steel, so also helped.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

Teddy is around a year old. He is house broke but not use to living inside. My mistake.
