    Cold Water Rinse
    Barbasol Canned Shave Soap
    Gillette Atra
    Dorco Comfort Thin II
    CWS
    Barbasol AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. I don't think I have used any canned soap on my face since 2011. That said, the Barbasol Canned Shave Soap came out of the can really well. I just applied it with my fingers like I did in the early years. I did two passes with the Gillette Atra razor with a Dorco Comfort Thin II Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The ER little leather catheter and the TNNSER 3D are on my short list. Hopefully I can get them for Birthday or Christmas.

Try using a brush with the Barbasol Jim. It works great for hydrating and moving the lather around.

Just curious... was that razor re-plated? I've never seen one of that type that shiny and beautiful! Nice one!

Mild razor but performed better than expected. Part of that has to do with it is that time of the year when the change of seasons is upon us. I don't know about others but once the leaves are turning and temperature dropping my skin doesn't stay as hydrated and becomes more taut which it turn makes it easier to get a closer shave than normal. It is like a natural skin stretching. Not a BBS shave but much better than most mild razors I've used.

No sir, that's just the way it looks. I have 3 of them, and they all polish up nicely. That's what an F-Type is. Now, if you don't polish it, the copper top tarnishes to a rich deep maroon. I occasionally let it tarnish just for variety, but generally I wipe them down well enough after using that they don't get a chance to tarnish. Yes, I have an F-type, but mine is nowhere near that shiny. What do you polish it with?

MAAS. After that, just a soft cloth does the trick. If I allow it to tarnish, then I might need to break out a polishing cloth (and old dry-polish embedded cloth that came with my silver-plated Bach Stradivarius trumpet decades ago).
