    Cold Water Rinse
    Tabac Shave Soap
The Brush B-3 by Tom Badger
    TNNSER 3D Green/Black
    CVS CS SE
    CWR
    Tabac AS Balm

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the The Brush B-3 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the TNNSER 3D Green/Black razor with a CVS CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Very nice injector, I have the American version and from what I have read on the Pal injectors is the British variant is a little more aggressive to some whom prefer that.
It's hard to believe but in the 1950's they spent over a million dollars to develop these great razors.

Second shave with this razor. I have to say this my comment about it being like a G1 may have been premature and that may have been more so due to the blade than the razor. This shave was much better with the Personna blade, no weepers, end result was very close but just short of a BBS shave. End result it still doesn't feel like an Schick Type L the way it shaves. I would opine it is maybe more like a Type O or Type O clone than an L. I will give that a test with my next 2 shaves using this blade and the Schick blade in a Type O clone.

Well, in the final days to grab a Supply Injector at the old price, I find mine still slugging it out with the gran-pappy I1.

This time each had a new Personna.

The I1 was crummy. I could shave with it, but why. It is so pleasant with a Chick. I'd get rid of it if it didn't get better than this.

I lightly corked the blade in the Supply on the shown felt block. I can't tell any difference one way or the other. No question, the Supply is easier to shave with. A little more blade feel than the I1 and easier to get on angle due to the bulbous cap. If you skin stretch well, ride the cap and roll the razor just till you get blade contact it's okay. Buffing action improves things.

Still, half a face was enough for me. I picked up the Focus R28 Slim AL for the rest. Funny, the Schick I1 injector was the secondary tool most often used when I was learning edge forward shaving devices. I just never-ever thought I would be grabbing a shavette to back up my shave testing.

Both these blades are heading for the bin. I can see why Supply is coming out with a new one. Did I say that the Supply folks will be on Shark Tank this Sunday night? What a great opportunity for the wet shaving community.

I can't wait any longer, I'll be loading up a Schick Proline in the Supply for tomorrow. I can't say how wonderful it is for Andrew @Linuxguile to be the best source for these in the US. Based on those who have gone before me, I gave high expectations.

Great shave with the Blood on Steel, maybe Tsuka (the real name) will make a showing on the Stirling Black Friday sale.

That is a real find. I would offer it to Butlins I am sure you would make enough to buy another one for use and some left over.

SOTD- Looking at the Schick rack it is going to be the theme razor L6 injector. The L series of injectors had a lot of theme razors that makes shaving interesting for the morning shave.

Razor : Schick injector L6 "Easy Rider" with a theme of different motorized activity's and having a shave while doing it. Weird commercials IMO showing how easy it was to shave on the go(L series are nice and milder aggressiveness than most).-MFG 1969?-1972
Blade: Schick platinum (2) old stock
Soap : Razorock "The dead Sea"
    Brush: Yaki tuxedo knot 24mm+
Preshave: Brush wash the face with CeraVe hand bar soap+ Dollop of Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Post shave : Alum + cold water rinse
Post shave: Razorock "The dead sea" aftershave with witch hazel
    Results:CCS,DFS,BBS + Alum indicated no irritation+ no weepers= [IMG]

Yes Sir....An Ever Ready 1912 would be very hard to beat for an introduction to SE shaving...It would also be one you would want to use for the rest of your life.

Type L clone, Schick II twin blade, shave 8
    [IMG] [IMG]

Third shave and test to see how this razor performs with a twin blade. Shave is about the same closeness as with the Personna blade but without any of the drama. Next up to test if this is more like a Type O clone or Schick Type N. It sure as hell doesn't shave like a Type L when all is said and done.
