It’s rather a quirky looking Razor , but I decided to give it a go.I have small hands and actually find the handle easy to use, very manuvreable too. On plate 3 it delivers very comfortable Shaves, with a very close finish up there with those I get with other AC/SEs.

Did not work for me at all. Handling I got used to but shave was awful regardless of blade.

Schick Type L2, Personna blade, shave 7

Double check shave on this razor to see if the Personna blade on 10 shaves I used prior was done. Answer was yes since this shave with a less worn blade was better, still not a BBS finish but it is closer. Either way and I am not surprised the Type L8 aka the Golden Schick is a better shaver than this one. At some point I need to get an L1 and see how it stacks up.

    Stirling Syn.30mm
    Arko stick- grated
    Alu. General / Windrose handle
    Feather Proguard [ 12 ]
    Pitralon Original A/S Lotion

I think for me the Feather Proguard blade has reached its Optimum, though the finished Shave was more than passable the blade has started to pull a bit. What pleased me about the Shave was the way the Alu.Hawk moved, with the Windrose handle that I have recently fitted to it.Also I must make more use of this rarely used Stirling Brush which worked a treat with the Arko.

    Cold Water Rinse
    Tabac Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #292
    Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher
    CVS CS SE
    CWR
    Tabac AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #292 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher razor with a CVS CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Didn't get around to posting yesterday. Just a 1 pass with very light cleanup was needed with the Gem squat head.
