Had some fun today and used three razors each a different style of razor I won't talk about two here though. The Enders speed was used with a proline B20. I love this razor. And the Mer Shavings Fougere orange was whipped up with a synthetic this time. Love this soap but the synthetic is just meh.

It's been a while -- so many razors, so little stubble -- but I took out my Eagle Improved lather catcher tonight. The blade used was a modified (blade has been shortened along the Y-axis) Gem SS PTFE. The Modern Williams used for this Williams Wednesday was lathered with an Omega 10777 boar. A very comfortable, close-enough for tomorrow's workday, 2-pass shave.

An interesting Shave today as after using a Bullet- Tip I used the Original Micromatic. With my quite strong beard I found that yesterday I got a decent smooth Shave with the BT, but by early evening the stubble was beginning to show. Today there was significant blade feel with the Razor warning me to take care and use a light touch, in doing so I had a trouble free outing and was rewarded with a rather Face Stroking finish. This is a definite must for future ER/Gem rotations. I am currently trying to cut down on the number of razors used in different rotations as they are becoming rather lengthy.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Palmolive Shave Cream face lathered well with the Jayaruh #313 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Gem Push-Button razor with a CVS CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

My latest acquisition: Many of you know I have had the full red, yellow, and green Enders Speed Shavers for a while, yet, and they're very nice specimens. When I saw this one up for auction, I couldn't pass it up, because I saw the potential. Upon arrival, it had the customary layer of soap scum, but otherwise it was devoid of defect. The case, instructions, and blade packs, while interesting, are not usually my focus in collecting. I like to use these razors, and not just display them.

I cleaned it up with a warm water soak, then dish soap gentle scrub with a soft bristle toothbrush. Then, one application of my go-to polish, Zaino Z-5. I've been using Zaino products for over 20 years on my 1998 Trans Am. I've discovered it has outstanding results on Bakelite/Catalin. This razor is absolutely flawless. When compared to my pre-existing green Enders, this one is a little brighter with more yellow swirls.

First shave with this brush, after which it bloomed considerably, with minimal shedding. Eats a lot of soap but makes a great lather quickly. It’s definitely a keeper.

First off this razor is nothing like the B1 and secondly I'd be hard pressed to think of a milder Schick SE razor than this one. This razor only gives you one angle to work with, ride the cap or no shave for you. End result is not a BBS and it is the least close shave I've gotten from a Schick SE razor not including the few initial shaves on the Type A before dialing it in. It took a couple of passes and go over the same pass again and again and ... to get sufficient hair reduction and with all that work including skin stretching the end result was minimal irritation when it should have been a 4 alarm fire irritation for the amount of swipes, stretching and blade pressure applied. Tomorrow and through the weekend all 3 C razors are up next.

Well if you ever decide you don't need both green Enders' I would gladly take one off your hands. I am never interested in the boxes and such, more razor asthetics and performance.

Nice find. I never seem to come across any on the auctions sites and definitely not in the wild.

    Thank you!

I have a collector's mentality. As soon as I get rid of one of my green ones, I'll drop and break my only remaining one. I did this when collecting comics in the 70s to 90s---3 copies of everything. I'll quit bidding on the green ones, now, so your chances got better.
