Excellent photo of fine shaving products @mayer57619.
Good stuff Ron.
Outstanding photograph Jim. Where did you get that shave cream?
Stunning brush Jim!
Not sure if the sale is still going. BFS30 may get you 30% off your order.
Cold Water Rinse
GZD Berber Stick
Family Dollar Old Spice
My prep was just a cold water rinse. The GZD Berber Stick Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #1 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Eversharp G razor with a Personna blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Family Dollar Old Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Nice setup Fuzz. So the Clubman Shave Lather works pretty good with a brush?. I have the soap but wasn't sure about the Shave Lather. The soap is awesome.

A tale of 2 shaves today. For the first time ever....I could not get a P&B Soap to lather. All the lather just disappeared and I might as well have been using a fragranced shaving oil. The soap itself is about a year old and hasn't seen much use as I had some Stirling Texas on Fire (which to me smells similar) on the go. I even tried a badger and badger/boar mix with the same results. The surface of the soap looked a little glossy and I did have a little bit of a skin reaction......so perhaps it has not reacted kindly to the passage of time.
The end result was a perfect finish....just no feel good factor
I sure hope so Jim.
Gem Clog Pruf peerless, Gem ptfe SS blade, shave 6
Decide to use old reliable today. After shaving with well over a 100+ different razors and none of them match up to this razor when you factor in things like smoothness, efficiency and not just overall closeness of shave. This is the only BBS level 1 and 2 razor I have that is completely drama and irritation free. All the others have had issues in some way even the ones that get BBS level 2 or higher.
