Injector & SE Party !!!

Yeah, yours will come up the same as mine Sir....Mine looked the like yours when I got it....You Don't need to be gentle when polishing these you know....They are made of Billet Alloy, Copper & Brass....There is no plating to worry about Sir....These are built like a Panzer Tank....They have got to be the highest quality built Injector ever made....Don't let the weight of it fool you....After you use the metal polish on it I would finish it off with Tooth paste.....You will notice that the Toothpaste takes off any residue that is left behind by the metal polish....The paradox with metal polish is that it leaves a residue behind that tarnishes the metal quite quickly....
I wee Tip I learned in the forces for my brasses...It saved me from getting a rifle but across the ear in the morning parade going through the Depot.....

 

The F Type doesn't shave any closer than the Type E 2 ....The F type does however make the E 2 feel like an old spanner though in terms of how efficient it is....The F Type is as aggressive as an Type E 2, but as easier to use and as smooth and forgiving as a later Hydro Magic...In fact its far smoother than any later milder injectors....The F Type does everything but buy you a pint....

Now if you want to experience a super close Weight Loss BBS result then the PAL Injectors will blow your E Type 2 away Sir....My brother said the same as yourself and I sent him a PAL Injectomatic down to London with some Chick Blades.....He's a stubborn bugger, but he phoned me up and said... "I hate to say it Bro, but those PAL Injectors make my Old Schick feel like an old spanner".....

I said.... "Yeah they should come with a Schick health warning".....

That said...I have a Black Handled Canadian Type E that shaves like a PAL Injector....There was never a USA made Type E that was as aggressive and smooth as Canadian Black handle Job....This thing is unusable with a Current Personna blade in it....It will cut you to pieces....
With a Chick Blade and or an NOS Schick Plat, it is heaven on earth though...
PAL Injectors get overlooked by most and you have to try one....You wont regret it....I can promise you that .....You wont be disappointed......

Well...I think I may have found the problem I might have been having with the personna blade. I think I may have used to much pressure. I don't think I compensated for the lightness of the Hyro Magic. I will see the next shave, will give the Personna another go.

 

BTW...My shave was excellent today with the Chick blade. I made sure not to use pressure and was a lot more mindful than the last couple with shaves using the HM.

 

Aye Sir....The Chinese Schick Blades are more forgiving in my experience ...In fact I use pressure with them....Schick's were designed to use some pressure as the early instructions manual informed the user to utilize .....Some really aggressive injectors are almost unusable with Personna blades in my experience....

Personna blades are fine, but there are issues with them for me as they are primarily designed as a Medical/Scientific Laboratory blades for cutting up species and only secondary as a shaving blade due to the difference in the cutting edge....
They are less springy and alive compared to blades that are primarily designed for the sole purpose of shaving....

So...Do you mean the Personna blades are sharper? Maybe it will smooth out after a shave or two.

I'm still looking for an injector with my wants that is inexpensive for me. Too bad I have expensive tastes.

 

There is a general consensus that the Chinese blades are sharper....I find them a lot sharper than Personna blades...I do find that the Personna blades can be harsher in certain injectors ....I find that they tend to work better in milder injectors and that they can be too harsh in say a PAL Injector....I personally find the Chinese blade to be as sharp as the much hyped Feather injector Pro blade that's used in the Mongoose....

I just readjusted my razor schedule for SEptember. I will be using Schicks: I1, I2, J2, L2, and M2. I am looking forward to SEptember now. It won't be long now.

 

You guys got me excited so I took the plunge. I settled for less then I wanted but I can always get more right? This one was inexpensive and shipping should get it to me by SEptember. the blades were separate but they should get here the same day.
