Today I had my 3rd consecutive Shave with the Hiram/Plate 3, and my second one standing up. Yesterday I rushed a bit so the finish was a bit poor around the neck. Today with no rush the all round finish was spot on, probably one of the best Shaves I have had with any type of Razor.

The Tabac Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #340 badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Enders Speed Razor with a Schick Proline blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

SOTD, Jan 28th-2020 Had such a close shave yesterday I almost did not need one today.

Razor: Oneblade Core version 2 - MFG 2019
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE modified (13) -Its starting to drop off.
Soap: Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore "Firenze"
Brush: Yaqi tuxedo knot 24mm> with black marbel handle.
Preshave: brush wash the face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: FINE fresh Vetiver with witch Hazel + Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers =

Razor : Enders speed shaver - MFG 1940's-55
Blade : Schick Pro line B-20 (1) With a Enders blade carrier.
Soap : Razorock Don Marco- nice citrus scent with good lather properties.
Brush : Yaqi tuxedo knot 24mm> with a black marble handle.
Pre-shave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep : cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Alum + cold water rinse.
Post shave : Italian barber Amici aftershave with witch Hazel + Nivea balm.
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + Alum indicated irritation + 3 small weepers =

I had a very enjoyable shave with my Kampfe Brothers Star razor on my bullet casing handle today. Oddly I got better results when the shave angle was VERY steep. More experimentation needed. The little bit of irritation I did get was during the initial shallow angle first pass. That irritation quickly dissipated. However I started thinking how I usually get little to no irritation on the back of my neck which is almost exclusively steep angles. So I finished the rest of the shave with an almost 90 degree blade angle. This resulted in a very close comfortable shave. I'm sure steep angle shaving isn't right for everyone. But today with this razor that's what worked best for me.

 

That is such a cool razor. There probably aren't to many with the American Airlines logo like that around. Especially in that good of condition.

 

I haven't shaved with my L-type in a long time but I pulled it out today and got a great shave. BBS with no irritation at all.
