Very comfortable shave with the Core this morning

GEMonday, Feb3-2020, Just a quick 2 pass shave with a great razor, my true GEM Damaskeene Open comb 1912. Its not aggressive but just mild Mid range with great efficiency to make it a winner in my rotation of razors.

Razor: GEM Damaskeene open comb-MFG 1912-15 one of the most successful razors ever designed after 1900's. They sold millions of different variants up to 1940's.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE-(2) another great blade.
Soap: TOBS Sandal wood. Great masculine scent.
Brush: Razorock Plissoft- great synthetic brush.
Pre shave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera Gel on beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 2.
Post shave: Proraso red Sandal wood + witch Hazel + Nivea balm for men.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + minor irritation + no weepers=

Today I went with the bumpless MMOC. It was a great shave even though I only needed a quick cleanup after yesterday's shave.

Am sure that I may get a quicker Shave with the Enoch if I use another blade, but I am happy with the Shaves that I am getting. The Pro guard in the Enoch allows me to work away without any problems so I can rid myself of my quite strong beard growth. I may at blade change time try it out with a Schick Blade.

I had a fun Daily Double today. I realized I hadn't tried this Durham yet. I used it for the first pass then used the trusty Ever-ready 1914 for the rest of the shave. I enjoyed the Durham but I really think these blades could be improved with a hanging strop. I am going to have to solve the lack of a hanging strop soon. The ER performed very well with a 6th use Meijer blade. I even kept the blade to give it a chance at a 7th use which is unusual for me. The soap I used today was a goats milk soap a friend made. It lathered and performed quite well but I added a bit to much water.

Now I have had 4 consecutive Shaves with the Enoch all without problems , so it is proving to be very suitable for me as a Daily Shaver. I really think I am getting used to it, though initially I kept trying to Shave off the Head like I do with other AC/SE. Again very pleased to have had a trouble free Shave with a Top Notch finish.

Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3
Post shave: Razorock The Dead Sea aftershave with witch hazel+ Nivea for men.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers =

Just another back to back Shave with The Enoch, and despite the blade being on its 8th outing the Shave was trouble free with a great finish. Very hard to convey just how well this Razor Shaves until you try one.

Brush: Yaqi Rainbow brown whiskers 26 mm- very nice brush to use IMO
Pre-shave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch Hazel + Nivea balm for men.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + very minor irritation + no weepers =
