Clauss razor, Gem ptfe stainless despined, shave 1

First go round with this razor. As of now this is by far the most aggressive/efficient gem blade style SE I've used. This razor will be a good training razor to learn what little to no pressure really means when using a razor and good razor to train on before I start out on shavettes next. Finish was an almost glass like BBS and closest shaver for Gem style SE razors I own so far.

Yes sir. That is one efficient razor. I like CS in mine. I might have to give a Stainless a go.

    Glad you like the shave.

I have carbon steel blades and will try one soon. I should be able to tame this razor after a few shaves. If this was a year or so ago this razor would have been shelved for being too aggressive not now. This razor really does require a skilled hand and doesn't suffer fools or beginners kindly. Thanks for trading it to me. As much as I like injectors this one will get worked into the mix with a few other razors.

I think the Clauss really thought me the meaning of no pressure. It also made me love Blade feel.

It is not for the light hearted.

    Occams Enoch
    Schick Proline [ 1 ]
    P & B Spitfire A/S Splash

A change of blade in the Enoch, and this time loaded and locked down securely with ease. I find it much more aggressive than the Hiram used yesterday, but I had no problems completing the Shave and the overall finish was very good. I much prefer this to the King Cobra which I sold in order to purchase this.

Thanks! I didn't have much to work with given the soap is unlabeled.

    Vitos Super Red
    Occams Enoch
    Schick Proline [ 2 ]
    Tuff Green A/S Lotion

Still on a learning curve with this Razor/ Blade combination. Was quite a quick Shave, and I did not quite get it quite right along the RH Jawline and neck, also managed to get a weeper for the first time in ages. I think I need to slow down a bit when using this Razor which seems to urge you to go for a quick Shave.

The Arko Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #375 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the J.A. Henckels Rapide Lather Catcher with a J.A. Henckels Wedge blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I had a nice relaxing shave today. I opted for the mellow Gem PB and a softer brush. I also refrained from over shaving. A very comfortable and plenty close shave all in all.
