    Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion

My first use of this B1,which I hand loaded being rather wary of trying the fully functioning repeating mechanism. It may look rather daunting to Shave with , but in fact it is very easy to shave with as it is not overly aggressive yet still efficient. The Shave was very satisfying as I had no problems getting a nice close all round finish. A very nice conclusion to my Injector rotation.

    Pinaud Lilac Vegetal AS

The Proraso Red Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #340 brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Russian SHaDE Razor with a Gillette Silver Blue Half Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Lilac Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

SOTD, Fri April 24th 2020, I was thinking about Everready(ER) razors and I picked a nice one this morning. It is the ER 1924(AKA shovel head). The razor has a front hinge and blade is loaded from the back, the shovel head gave a great shave for a light beard growth that can be harder to shave. I could use this for a daily driver if I choose to- just a nice razor with a ER streamline strop handle.

Razor : Everready 1924(AKA shovel head) with ER streamline handle - MFG 1919-33 - great daily driver IMO.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (8)
Soap: Colonel Conk Bayrum- very nice slick soap with a nice mild scent of bayrum.
Brush: Yaqi Timberwolf 24 mm- very nice soft tip with reasonable backbone brush to use IMO.
Pre-shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser+ a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Proraso Green with witch Hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm .
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = [IMG] excellent shave this morning and hit targeted sweet spot.

This time shaved at a steep angle. Closer shave than at the shallow angle but about the same closeness at this angle as with the Proline P-30, only difference is the shave was smoother.

End result razor is blade dependent but less so for closeness the steeper the angle but more so for comfort at the steeper angle.

Having got used to this Razor I switched blades and now am on a second outing with a Feather Pro. A much more assured Shave today and found it to be very smooth and trouble free, still a bit of trouble getting the angle right
in all areas, but the overall finish gets better.
