I rather enjoyed the Shave today as I had time to spare, as I aborted the proposed Food Shop. With the addition of this S/S Handle it is very easy with a light touch to get a most satisfyingly close finish with this really inexpensive
Razor. I am liking the looks of the S/S version and could be tempted by the Open Comb version.

The Williams Mug Soap face-lathered well with Tom's 3D Printed Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the AutoStrop A1 with a Gem Blue Star SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Clubman Pinaud AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

You really can use this hefty Razor to good effect, on the upper face one really just has to steer it with the minimum of pressure . I may have better Razors but by the look of things it is unlikely that any more AC/SEs
will be produced in UK, so its a keeper and great to use.

Last shave with this razor using the Gem blade at the same adjustment as with the wedge prior. They both have the same feel to the shave but this is much closer shave and better cut. End result is still far short of my standards. Cool razor and iconic piece of history but not a must have to use.
