    Jayaruh #340 Badger
    AutoStrop VB1
    GEM Blue Star SE

    Cella ASB

The Proraso Sandalwood Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #340 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the AutoStrop VB1 with a GEM Blue Star SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Cella ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor: Everready streamline 2nd Generation model-Mfg 1949-53- Nice eye candy, but it needs good technique to enjoy even more IMO.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(3) Great blade in all respects that checks most of the boxes, sharp, longevity & smoothness as the blade wears in.
Soap: Barrister & Mann Seville- nice scent with good lather qualities IMO.
Brush: Razorock Plissoft 24mm- great brush that I enjoy still after 3 1/2 years.
Pre-shave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pick ups.
Post shave: Razorock blue barber with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + minor irritation + 2 tiny weepers= [IMG] very close shave with my ER Streamline razor.

    Feather Proguard [ 5 ]
    Massimo Dutti A/S Lotion

Another nice trouble free quality Shave with the Oren. Trouble with the Shaving Lark is that you get used to a change of Razors daily, so using the same one can pall.

This razor makes a micromatic open comb seem like a Featherweight in comparison. Very managable shave though if you are mindful of what you are doing, keep light pressure and maintain an almost flat angle. Result is one of closest BBS shaves I get out of any single edge razor I can think of that I've used.

Razor : Valet Auto Strop C1 Canadian Variant - Mfg 1920's, Gap has been altered to .007 thousands of a inch to smooth out the shaves. It is a lot more enjoyable for me to use with the smaller gap that was approx .011 before.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (7) Great blade.
Soap: Razorock What the Puck Lime- great soap with strong lime scent, good summer time soap IMO, triple milled.
Brush: Razorock Noir 400 Plissoft 24 mm - great brush and reminds me of a well broke in Boar brush.
Preshave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar Cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + Pickups.
Post shave: Nivea refreshing aftershave+ a small dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = [IMG] great shave with my Valet auto strop C1 model.

I tested 2 new to me razors today. A Gem 1912 and a Gem Junior. I didn't expect much difference in the shaves but the 1912 was more efficient/aggressive than the Junior. Both razors shave quite comfortably but there was a noticeable difference. The Sterling Almost Heaven with frost drops lathered very well with the synthetic brush. And the shave was very enjoyable all around.

    RazoRock 400. Se- Plissoft noir
    Vitos Super Red
RazoRock S/S Hawk V3- A guard, Super Knurl handle
    Schick Proline [ 1 ]
    Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion

This was a Maiden Shave with this version of The Hawk v3, and I found it much less fierce than the OC version -however still very effective. The Shave was smooth and comfortable and quite relaxed, for an initial outing the finish was quite remarkable, and I shall probably use it over the next few days to test it as a Daily Shaver.
