    Even after 9 outings this Razor/Blade still going strong, and again the quality of finish was up there. Where this Razor scores for me is its ability to work around the upper lip/ nostrils, also I can get a really good finish on the neck every time without causing any irritation. I really have to work quite hard with other Razors to get such a finish around the latter area.

    The Proraso Green Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #1 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick C Repeater with a Schick Proline blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    GEMonday, June 15th 2020

    Razor: Gem Push button - MFG 1958-65 one of my favorite looking Gem razors, black and gold is eye appealing.
    Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (6) Excellent blade,very sharp,good longevity, Smooths out nicely over it's life cycle.
    Soap: Tabac- good soap with light flowery scent with good lather qualities.
    Brush: Yaqi Tuxedo knot 24 mm synthetic- Excellent brush and had no problem lathering my Tabac triple milled soap.
    Pre shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
    Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + any pick ups.
    Post shave: Pinaud Clubman with witch Hazel + a tiny dollop of Nivea balm.
    Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = [​IMG] Excellent shave with my GEM push button razor.

    A blunted vintage Enders Speed blade slips right behind it and holds it in place. Works perfectly. You need to grind down the edge of the vintage blade a minimum of 0.5 mm, but probably best to just take off the entirety of the bevel. Doesn't have to be perfectly straight or pretty because the new blade overlaps it.

    I had a great shave today with my Gem Jr. Parade and a straight razor. The straight got most of the first pass and the Gem got the rest of the shave with a 7th flip Gem SS PTFE loaded. The Sterling Executive man lathered very well on my Custom SHD two band badger.

    After a few days Shaving with The Hawk V3-A plate, I had a day out with the OC version. As usual a good close Shave, but personally as a Daily Shaver I like the relaxed more comfortable Shave provided by the A Plate.
