    Tue 4th August.

    RR 400 SE Plissoft noir
    Cyril Salter Solid Soap
    Occams -Enoch
    Schick Proline [ 1 ]
    Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion

    After using the Heavyweight Hiram yesterday I just had to use the lighter more compact Enoch. Loaded a fresh blade taking care to keep it secure on the rather small retaining pegs. It has taken me some time to get used to the Enoch, and previously I preferred The Hiram but having got a feel for it Shaves are now very smooth and comfortable besides being nice and close all round. It is a nice looking Razor and probably the one that finds favour with those using the latest Occams offerings.

    The Tabac Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #1 silvertip brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Micromatic OC razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    SE SOTD. Tue, Aug 4th 2020

    Razor: Oneblade Core V2- Mfg 2018 > good daily driver, mild razor with the swivel head. 3 pass needed.
    Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE modified(4) Excellent in all respects that make a blade stand out.
    Soap: Razorock XXX- excellent scent and great lather qualities.
    Brush: Yaqi rainbow with brown whiskers 26 mm - Great lather making in any type of soap with soft tips.
    Pre shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
    Prep:Cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + pickips.
    Post shave: Razorock Emperor aftershave with witch hazel + a tiny dollop of Nivea balm.
    Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = [​IMG] excellent shave with my Oneblade core & Gem blade.

    One of the best milder and underrated SE razors. Those Mk2 Clog Prufs are still one of the best kept secrets in the wet shaving realm.

    My British pat. 1912 Gem loaded with a Gem/Ted Pella. I hadn't shaved in a couple of days, so I used a Goat's Milk Soap from the Netherlands, the cheapie Blues Anbaas. Great thick lather and post shave feel. We have very hard water and it still gets super creamy. I, frankly, have never noticed the difference between hard and soft tap water in how a soap lathers. Like many of us, I've used distilled just to check it out and see how it goes. And in spite of all the scientist shavers who bemoan certain soaps and lathering them in hard water, I've just never noticed much if any difference. All in what you're used to I guess. Even my scraggly old Ever Ready liked this cheap soap from China. Vintage Avon Tai winds after shave, followed by the matching cologne and I'm finally caught up shaving.

    After a few days with AC/SE razors, the head of an injector seems very small. However, the Shave was extremely smooth and comfortable and the finish Top Notch. Rather glad I got hold of this Clone before they disappeared from the market, it really does deliver great Shaves.
