The Vintage Life Licorice Shave Soap face-lathered well with Olivewood Silvertip Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the J.A. Henckels Rapide Lather Catcher razor with a J.A. Henckels Wedge blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Sun 25th October

    Muhle Silvertip “S” 21mm
    Mondial Tabacco Verde
    Occams Enoch
    Schick Proline ( 4 )
    Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion

Not always sure how it will go with this Razor, as sometimes I get the angles wrong. Today was a dream, smooth and comfortable with a nice close finish. That little brush is a perfect partner for the soap, no overspill at all, as this
Is currently my travel soap I think that the little Muhle is likely to travel too.

    Mon 26th October

    Muhle Silvertip S-21mm
    Tabac stick
    Hiram Commander / plate 2
    Feather Pro ( 5 )
    Tabac A/S lotion

Though the Hiram might be expected to be cumbersome during a Shave, because of its Size/ Weight. In fact once in the hand and in action it is very manouvreable and the weight seems to disappear. It is very good when working against the grain, as the curve on the hanA very nice Shave today, and apart from around the nostrils the finish is a “Face Stroker”

    Wed 28th October

    Muhle Silvertip 21mm
    Williams Mug Soap
    ER 1924
    Gem S/S ( 3 )
    Williams Aqua Velva A/S lotion

The 1924 is deemed to be quite aggressive, but once mastered delivers excellent Shaves. For many years I have been using one with a longer handle, and today delivered the kind of finish that I expect from an AC/SE.

It’s been 18 months since I broke out the Hussy. I needed a close shave that would last long and the Hussy excels at that. Wow, she still loves me and the feeling is mutual. :love055:
