    I'll be using my new to me Type I1 ofr the first time today. I decided to load it up with a Schick Krona blade that came with kit.
    Of all the handle designs, I think this is one of my favorites. Now to find a Hydro-Magic :rolleyes:

    I recently picked up a nice black handled Canadian E3. Yesterday, I spent a good bit of the day cleaning it up and restoring some discoloration of the handle that came up in the process. Today, I got to try it out. While not quite a contender for my top SE it sure gave it a good go. It gave an easy, close shave and the third pass was more touch up than anything else. A few small cuts which I often get with a new blade but otherwise a light touch made for a very efficient, enjoyable shave. :happy036:

    I will say that Cryogen is something else, a tiny bit added to my mug made some chilly lather! Great shave from the PAL!

    Two-pass shave.
    1st pass - good reduction on the WTG pass.
    2nd pass - ATG pass leaves me clean and smooth, though I’m still trying to find the best approach to shaving my broad chin with the Gems. I have experienced that finding the correct approach and angle are possible, but it is a bit more work than I’ve experienced with the injectors and DEs.

    The Schick Type I1 loaded with a China Schick blade provided an effortless DFS this morning. Two passes wtg, no touch ups required. Similar to DE razors for me, it is more a matter of finding the blade that works. For me the Chinese Schick blade is the only one that provided an irritation free shave.

    Seeing all of the I1s in the posts above inspired me to break mine out. It was only my second shave with it. After having spent a good bit of time with my OCMM, E2 and E3s recently it seemed even tamer than before. Certainly not as aggressive as the others and this encouraged me to use a wee bit more pressure than I would with my other razors. That led to a nice close DFS/BBS shave but also a few small weepers. I think I'm going to have to work with this one a little more often to find that sweet spot.:sport001:

    Like everyone else says, the handle is great to hold - surprisingly so. :happy036:

    Wow....talk about your Razor Porn....I don't know how she shaves but she is Smokin!! This one should definitely have her own centerfold of the month....

    Ohh, and Karl....you asked me who were the winners in my series of Shave-offs in SEptember...
    Man thats a great question, I went to answer it several times but I really need a moment of careful deliberation and reflection....This is one question that I want to answer with all kiddin aside...The shaves this month were spectacular....Thanks for making me give this the thought it deserves...

    I wanted you to know, that I'm not neglecting my responsibilities to report these results as objectively and clear and concise as possible...or maybe I'll make two reports, objective and subjective....lol! At any rate a Stroke by Stroke account of the months results will be forth coming....Tks
