    Later version E2
    Schick (1)
    Osma Alum Block
    AOS Lavender After Shave Balm

I had been wanting to try out the later version E2 that I picked up some weeks ago (somehow I actually ended up with two of them.) I was curious to see how it compared to my early type E2 that I have been over the moon about. From listing the prep above I see it wasn't a fair comparison as I forgot the PSO and I do get better shaves with it. Of course, that just means I'll have to try again!

With the above prep I'd say the later version E2 was just as aggressive but a little bit less smooth than the early type. Either way my face is smooth, smooth, smooth. Nearly an immaculate shave. :happy036:

I am new to wet shaving and I have some DE razors no SE or injectors until today. I have been following the SE thread as it is September. I just got back from a junk store with this find. Thought I would get ready for next years festivities;) Any how I know less than nothing on SE and injectors. So where else to post this.
I got it for $8 hope this is a decent price. Any info and links on this razor will be greatly appreciated. It looks in very good condition, maybe never used not sure. I am missing the lid on the case.
There appears to be a blank in the razor where the blade should go. I have no idea how to load this thing. Hope there is some youtube vids. also can this accept single injector blades ore only twins. A bunch of NOOB questions I know. BUT I want to learn.
    Thanks
    Tom

Aye that 1941 Type E 2 is milder than the earlier ones that's for sure Sir....But as you say it just might be smoother...Interesting thoughts...;)

They also had a G type with a plastic handle really dirty rough shape but they wanted $18 for it. I thought that was over priced so I opted for the Adjustable half the price and way nicer condition.

That's a very nice M2 adjustable that you have. I have the same model and it gives excellent shaves. Get yourself some Schick blades and is it. You will not be disappointed. Congrats, you got it for an excellent price

Will it take single blade also? Not just the twins?
