Yeah the heck with that, hit eBay up! I'm sure the seller didn't post he doesn't accept returns on the broken P.O.S. he selling you! :)

I'll give it a shave. If it comfortably shaves then it isn't a P.O.S. in my book. Only paid $6 for it so I'm not going to freak out about it

Make sure you inject a blade & then Inject another to eject the 1st one...These were not designed to be loaded empty..The 1st blade is likely to get damaged ..:angelic007:

Sorry you got jobbed on your razor. It makes me realize how lucky I was, given that I bought mine based on two blurry photos.

I've perused this thread a few times but I'm not a regular visitor here so pardon me for probably asking something that's most likely been covered previously in the almost sixty-two hundred replies that fill this thread's three hundred ten pages (okay, so I didn't feel like searching all weekend).

So far I've only used three different injector blades, new Schick, new Personna, and NOS Gillette Trac II Twins. My hands down favorite is Schick.

Recently I've had the opportunity to acquire a few other NOS blades and I'm curious if there's any consensus on quality and performance (realizing of course, YMMV).

Here's what I've picked up (pictured with my preferred Schicks); Super Chromium, Eversharp, Krona, and Stainless Krona Plus. I haven't tried any of these yet and I've also noticed a couple other types for sale on eBay that I've been tempted to bid on but hesitated.

I welcome your thoughts and opinions on preferred blades.

Great question. For some reason the Schicks for me are the only blade to use in the PAL Injecto Matic but I don't like them at all in the type G injectors. Others think they are the perfect blade in the G. I'm still looking to find where I prefer my Super Chromiums and the one Krona I used was so mild I wonder if it got dulled when loading or is just a dud. I prefer the new Personnas in the type G but don't like them at all in a more aggressive razor. Long story short, I suspect you'll have to experiment to see what you prefer. :happy088: I think the YMMV thing is especially true with blade combos.

The downside, of course, is that you'll burn some blades quickly as there are likely to be some combos you just don't like. :char039:

I just achieved one of my best injector shaves ever with my latest acquisition. This is a nice razor! Two pass BBS with almost no cleanup.

Of those shown, ive tried the Krona and the Eversharp. Neither as good to me as the new shick blades. The Schick Platinum Plus arent too bad, but not great. NOS Schick blades made in Holland (Dutch Danglies) are great blades but hard to find.
