Get on the Bunny pass around if you aren't already.

The blade appears to be seated properly on the stops. Shake it vigorously - if you don't hear any rattling you're probably okay. Another test is to try to move the blade around with a toothpick. If you cannot do so with light pressure, then your spring repair was likely successful.

I did the shake test before shaving and no movement whatsoever

Holy moly, just tried a Schick twin blade for the first time and it was incredible.... It loaded into the type D easily. Two passes WTG and really, I didnt need the second pass. I couldn't hear any hair being cut the second pass because they were all gone already.... My face is as smooth as its ever been post shave.

Now I need to hunt down a life time supply of twins......

The good news is that if there ever is the dreaded shavapocalypse of NOS blades the Japanese are still making them and they are on sale on eBay all the time. I've read a number of good reports about them. :happy088:

Had an excellent shave with the B1 today. I used a fresh Chick blade and it left my face smooth and clean. The more I use repeating razors the easier it is to get good results. I find it easy to follow the contours of my face. Just a great tool from shaving!

You will find getting the angle of The Bunny very easy. As you use your Repeaters so often.

They may have different coatings or hygiene preparations from standard Hair Shaper blades...

Please can you recommend which blade I should use next? :) The Schick Plus Platinum weren't as impressive as previous NOS Schick's such as Super Chromium. I am using the Ted Pella's, they are adequate. Are the Personna Hair Shaper blades any good? The Personna 74's (I have a couple of boxes) are just for show, and will be sold on eBay for a few million or given to the nation in the event of my death ;)...

The Chinese Schick blades work from me but this's a highly subjective topic. You have some decent blades there.

I guess so....you combined the best of the best....snatching things you dug from the PAL and Repeaters....Long Live The Bunny!!!

PS....now you need to make a version that will load 20 blades from the handle...and maybe squirt aftershave from a hidden reservoir.....lol!

Hey man, you better keep an eye on those dragons....:susel: But don't worry.....That Bunny can 'SHAVE' that Dragon down to size..:D

Hey if those 74s are just for show....send them this way and I'll SHOW them....I'll SHOW them a good time and FEED them well....a steady diet of the whiskers they crave..:eatdrink020:

    Tonight shave
    [IMG]

    Tonights shave with the Rolls.
    Razor: Rolls
    Soap: Tabac
    Bruch: Pure Boar
    AS: Aqua Velva

This was my 4th shave with the Rolls. I have been working the blade intermittently over time. Each shave has gotten better.

The first shave I was only able to get 1 pass. It was tugging some. I gave it several cycles on the stone and strop.

Second shave I could tell the blade was getting better. I still only did 1 pass before finishing with another razor.

Third shave last week went much better. I was able to get 2 full passes before finishing my third with my Bunny.

Tonights shave I planned on getting 2 full passes then finish with my Shoveled. Thanks Karl great shaver.
Any how first pass went very well. I had decent reduction and no nicks. Although my lather was a bit dry. I face lathered tonight.

I added a bit of water and lathered for the second pass XTG. This pass was smooth. I like how this feels I am thinking to myself.
Off on a little side note. I took Billy's advice on how to go. Don't set blade on face the start. Start the motion just prior to contact. It was a bit weird at first but by the end of the first pass it felt fairly natural.

Any how I finished my second pass and checked my face. Pretty darned good reduction. So As there was no hint of tugging I felt I had the blade pretty close. I went for the third pass. ATG. I made sure I had a nice slick lather and went for it. I was not disappointed. The third pass resulted in a DFS. This is a shave that will last a good 6-8 hours before noticeable growth.

A few things I learned tonight. The wedge blade is not nearly as scary as I thought. When sharpened correctly it provides a very good shave. With time on this I feel I can get a Fantastic shave with it.

I need to since the blade a lot more. I need to se that sucker getting close to contact. The lather blocks my view.

This is a razor I plan to get a lot of use out of.

    Tom

    [IMG] Three Pass Shaving Routine..

Hot Water prep & massage with Coconut Oil
    Bunny V 3 Adjustable Injector
    Chinese Schick Injector Blade New
    Leon Hardy Pure Badger
    Monsavon Bol Tallow Soap
    Thayers Original Witch Hazel

I had My First Shave with my Bunny V 3 Injector today that Tom Kindly sent me as a present for being the Test Pilot for his V 2..I loaded the V 3 Injector with a Chinese Schick blade..I utilized the NOTSO Comb for a 3 pass shaving routine..I had 2 days of whiskers to cut down & went for the Money Button BBS Dolphin Smooth Shave..I have heard it said that there is No such thing as the perfect shave..Well..Maybe Aye..Maybe Hook Eye..Cause I am sitting here with an All Over Dolphin Smooth Result..I don't mean from North to South & form East to West neither..I mean in every Darn Direction..:D

The Bunny V 3 is a lot Lighter than the V2 ..The Handle has a smooth polished finish & I had no problems with it slipping in my hand..It shaves the same as the V2 & I Love it to Bits..There will undoubtedly be Wee Individual Quirks that each individual has that they may or may not like to see in Toms Injector..All I can say is for me its perfect in every way..Some folks may find the Bunny strange to load at first because they are mainly used to Schick Injectors with looser heads..I reckon once you get used to that Difference that will be it..The Bunny Injector has a Tighter Head like some of the American Safety Razor Company Injectors so just be aware of that One;)

Thank You Tom for sending me the Bunny V3..I am in Love with Two Bunnies now..I will be getting Sued for all over the Darn place for Bigamy soon..:happy102:
