As it tends to load a bit different from other injectors, want to make it as bullet proof ad I can.
Also what do you guys think of having button head screws instead of rivets. That would make it easily repaired if needed. Input requested.

I have always said that I Don't see or have had any Problems with the Spring on the Bunny..I know One thing for Sure..People have been Cramming all Sorts of NOS Magazines into it that Don't Fit..A Tank is Bullet Proof but will Quickly Breakdown in the Hands of the Public that Don't Know how to Operate it..:D

Yes that is a very true statement. My springs are still the way i made them. Nice and tight still.

Oh what is a boy to do

I would think you would want smaller heads. Maybe black or another color. Just a thought.

Were me I would try to lower the profile of the main spring so that the blade angle is less, more like a repeating razor. Next bring the comb up a tad , smooth things out a bit. When I had the razor I thought it shaved a little too close, l don't get this from the repeating razors. I might have said something earlier but I didn't want to color anyone else's shave. This is of course my humble opinion.

I sold my Repeaters Once I got over the Novelty of using them..I Don't think they even Compare to the Bunny in Terms of Performance..With a Chick Blade a Repeater is a Pussy Cat..I had an A Type & B Type & they were 2 Different Animals anyway..The Type A had a Head more like a Modern Injector & was Very Mild with a Chick blade..The B Type was Sorta like Shaving with an Antique..:)

Thank you for giving me more feed back. This is exactly what type of stuff I am looking for in replies. I hope others will be fully truthful in their assessments.

All I'm saying is that the repeating razor works really well for me. The A is a bit of a trick but the B and especially the C are really top notch! Not just the novelty but sincerely smooth and comfortable. As always this is my opinion and no one else's. That's all I have to say about this!

I think we are just expressing ideas here. Nothing is personal.

Absolutely, it's all good here. It's all great information.

I find my Type B repeater a real pleasure to use BUT the Bunny (MILD for me) is another, much better, thing all together. Superb.

I think alot of people prefer that matte finish as some prefer the shiney finish....Just like stainless handguns.....some prefer a matte or brushed finish and some prefer the shiney polished stainless....Just a matter of taste....

I've also seen some 'G' types with the "Textured" finish....Almost all, not all but almost all of the silver "66" G types have the textured finish...and usually go for more money...Seems to be very popular...I know I dig the Textured Gold E2s....
Heres the Textured Nickel "66" G type:

What do you mean, "Nothing Personal"?????
Yeah...."Nothing Personal" as long as you cats agree, I'm Right!

    Ahhh....OK.....I'm back now.........

And you are perfectly correct sir! And the YMMV factor rules.....especially when talking about razors and blades...Scheesh!......although @Billyfergie hits the nail on the head an unnaturally high percentage of the time, with his opinions....at least it seems I'm 'bout always on the same page......But, in my limited experience, I believe that not only are the repeaters, 'TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL" , my C3 Schick Simplified Automatic which is the only repeater I have is also The Best Shaver I Have....I have one or two other type razors that can match it, but none that shave better!...

Of course.....I haven't used many many razors....and I've never used the two repeaters, Billy mentioned.....or the Bunny razor.....But in my small, humble collection, my repeater holds its own on much more than it's novelty grounds....

And also we have to realize....that Billy's whiskers make Chuck Norris' whiskers look like peach fuzz......

Wait, are you saying the Hussy can't take down your repeater???? :shocked003: I don't think I want to be around your den when that news gets out. :kar:

    Yo @Karl G
Hey....I said, there were a few razors that could hold their own.....
The Hussy is at the top of that list....along with my ER 1914, ER 1924, early E2, GEM Damaskeen, PAL I-M, even my G8....
These are all top contenders.....on any given day...any one of these perticular models will give me the best shave I have ever had.....BUT, my C3, delievers uncanny great shaves right up there with the best of them!

Addendum: But....as far as a traveling razor goes.....I do insist on racking blades through the repeater system, to load a blade....So when traveling....If I take my C3, I also take a couple screwdrivers and my jeweler's magnifier glasses, so I can dissassemble the c3 if it gets jammed up...ha,ha....The Hussey, never jams! So maybe the Hussey has that one technical advantage....Lol!

I've got this short list of maybe 7 razors that all amaze me from time to time....

The Hussy....well her throne is permanently reserved.....
    The PAL I-M is....well....You know....
The ERs 1914 & 1924.....You know....I think both of these are just about 'Perfect'....

I had kind of ruled the Damaskeen as too mild to be King....but a great DFS machine like my I2 when I want a mild, comfortable DFS....But this new Dammy I got a few weeks ago shaves right up to my 1914...So thats an open 'grudge-match'....But, it changed my thinking on the Dammy...They are as good as legend makes them....You just have to find the right example....

And then I already said how my C3 repeater can match any razor I have....I don't know if it would be my 'desert island' razor, just because....you know...desert island....sand...might make it jam up....and it is a finely tuned, intricate piece of equipment...I wouldn't want to subject it to the desert island...ha,ha....like a p08 Luger...a true masterpiece, but a little delicate...

But I've been thinking alot about the early E2s.....Thats a very simple, basic no nonsense design...and it amazes me almost everytime I use it....I'm thinking, I might cop another good example....so I can have more than one....I definitely want to spend some quality time investigating the E2s a little further....This was Victor Octavius Rodrigue's masterpiece....

    More on this later.....
