Another amazing shave tonight. I've been so busy doing honey-do's around the house I haven't shaved since Thursday. This was my second go with the Bunny and first time using Sterling soaps. First, the Bunny is wonderful. Three passes; WTG, XTG and ATG and I'm BBS everywhere. I could have stopped at the second pass and been left with a DFS but then I would have wasted all that beautiful Stirling lather. This soap lathered so easily, it was slick and protective and it left my face feeling great. The menthol chilled my face wonderfully, this stuff should be required for Phoenix summers. While strong, the menthol didn't make my eyes water or overpower the lovely scent of this soap. I'm officially hooked on Stirling. Have a great day folks!

Sorry, no pic due to travel. Late night shave due to vacation. Went with one pass only, WTG. Pretty good shave for one pass. Ginger's Garden provided some fantastic lather and the G1 was great as usual.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Billy I'm so glad you're loving the Bunny, I can't wait for my turn. How is the Haslinger Honey scent wise, is it faint or pronounced? Is the performance just as good as the other Haslinger offerings? I'm wanting to purchase another, it's excellent and very fairly priced. :)

Focusing on my Schick Type L (L1 and L7) this month using a variety of blades.

    06-13-16.JPG

    3-day growth = 3-pass shave - WTG, XTG, ATG

First time using a FergieFeather (a cut-to-fit AC Feather Pro blade) in this razor.

    Oh my!

I know how sharp these blades are from using them in my Mongoose, but using them in a less aggressive razor completely tames it, yet retains the sharpness. First pass had such good reduction I may have been able to finish the shave with a 2nd pass ATG. I did all three passes anyway. I was never concerned about whipping about my face with such a sharp blade, the L kept me from harm and delivered a fantastic shave. Best shave so far out of three different blades.

The final contender (NOS Schick Twin blade, next week) will have its work cut out for it.
(Ha! get it? work “cut out for it” and i was talking about razor blades!!!) :happy108:

    Cheers!

It has been months since my last shave with my Schick M3 Protector. Time to bust it out. [IMG]
    Razor: Schick M3 Protector
    Blade: Schick NOS Twin
    Cream: Kleanspa Sweetsmoke
No Brush. Can be used as a brushless
    AS: homemade Sweetsmoke

Ad it has been months since I have used my M3. Tonight I decided it was time. I only had a days growth so I dialed it back to 5.

This razor with twins is a really nice shave. So smooth and maneuverable. This is a new to me cream. It can be lathered or just apply to a wet face. Today I chose not to use a brush. Just a dab worked great. I was able to just wet my face on the second and third passes. This provided plenty of slickness.

i got zero irritation and a DFS + shave. I also purchased a small bottle of the Sweetsmoke scent to make my own AS. I used witch hazel, a mall amount of glycerin and some vitamin E. It works great snd it smells great.

The scent is Tobacco, Vanilla and coco.

    Florida Water with M-Bomb

It's going to be hard sending this razor down the road. I used the Notso comb tonight and it only took 2 passes for a BBS shave. Very comfortable shave but I did catch a small weeper on my upper lip by going too fast. Other than that,I had zero irritation tonight.

This was my first try of the Stirling Barbershop tonight and it's fantastic. Great protection, easy to lather, very slick and a wonderful scent. As I was shaving I imagined Andy sitting down for a haircut from Floyd. I'm looking for a barbershop like that here in Phoenix, if I walk in and it smells like this soap I'll know I've found my place. Have a great day folks!
