So, I reckon that begs the question of where do I find a strop for SE blades. I just figured I'd use my SR strop, so that is nice to know

I know my time with the Bunny is ending soon :( and I want to continue using injectors after it moves on because I love the shave I get from them. I have a Schick Type E at home already. Any suggestions on what to look for that will replicate the shaves I'm getting from the Bunny? I've used both the mild and Notso comb so far and both delivered great shaves. Would an adjustable be the way to go for flexibility? Any advice is appreciated.

These 2 examples are the easiest to find. The can be found on Ebay if you look for a while.

Put a twin blade into a Schick Adjustable and it becomes an incredible razor. :happy036:

The Schick E and G are great comparisons. You can also use a cut down Feather AC spice them up. My favorite is a PAL with Chick blades. Mind you that is just me.

You'll have a collection before you know it Ben, for now order some Twin blades for that E. See below:

The Schick type H is the closest to a Bunny shave that I know of. The spring design of the H inspired the design of the Bunny. The Bunny has the advantage in ease of cleaning and avoiding clogging during a shave. The H requires more frequent rinsing but offers the closest shave of any razor I own. :happy036: However, you can't go wrong with an adjustable or a PAL Injecto Matic or a Personna Floating Head either. :)

DANGER DANGER. DO NOT USE Twin blades in any Schick before the H. Or hydro-matics.

I wouldn't recommend a twin in an E or a G. They are thicker and slightly wider than a regular blade and generally only recommended in Schicks after the G AS LONG AS they don't have a rinsing lever (like the I2 Hydro Magic.)

Kudos to Tom for this last string of advice on SE cleaning, shims and stropping. Much like many on this thread, the eagerness of people to answer questions and help folks on a similar path is just purely awesome. It's the reason I haven't looked anywhere beyond TSD for pursuing this passion!

I wholeheartedly concur. I've been on TSD ever since I first started my wet shave journey, and the help that I've gotten (without judgement) is why I always come here first when I have a question. I really appreciate it

fyi - last year on the 30-day thread I did a focus on my DE adjustables which we referred to as Adjustable August.

This August I'm planning to do similar but with all 4 of my adjustables - so that's alternating between my Gillettes Fatboy and Slim as well as the PAL and Schick Adjustables.

All similarly curious shavers are welcome to join the comparison.
    Cheers!

When I first joined 9 months ago. My first question was answered almost immediately by several VERY helpful members. I was blown away. So in that moment I knew I found Home.

Helping others on this forum is its cornerstone, in my opinion. I am pleased to pay that forward.

Starting Friday, I will be using a Schick Injector Twin blade that @twhite sent me. I will be using the Schick M adjustable razor.

Concerning adjustable injectors, what is the biggest difference between the PAL and the Schick besides the looks and materials? Do they have similar springs? Which has more adjustment? If you had to buy only one, which would it be? I like the Chinese Schick blade I'm using now if that makes a difference.
