    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick G1
    Brush: Semogue 1520 boar
    Lather: La Toja
Post: Witch hazel splash, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

No pic this morning! Same setup as yesterday and a continued nice result. The G1 is efficient and fun to use. It might be time for a new Chick blade as this one seemed just a bit off on its game. I can't remember how many shaves are on this blade, so it's probably time to switch it out.

I hope you all have a great day!

July Focus on two non-Schick injectors:
    • PAL InjectoMatic
    • Personna Floating Head

    07-13-16.JPG

    Razor: PAL InjectoMatic
    Blade: Schick China (3)

    One-day growth, two-pass shave - WTG, ATG

Probably only needed a one-pass shave today but still looking to get consistent with the optimum angle, so I added the WTG pass.

Today’s shave was a very good shave, one might say near-BBS without any touch-ups - just the two passes.

I will move to another blade type tomorrow. Perhaps a Dutch Schick. Friday I will do the same with the Personna FH. Another week of getting more familiar with both razors next week. I will then alternate razors each day of the last week of the month for side-by-side comparisons.

    Cheers!

I tried a variety of blades in my PAL IM and was always disappointed [Edit: because the Schick can't be improved on.] Some of them turned it into a nasty razor. YMMV but I wouldn't risk a blade you'd feel bad about burning. :scared003:

Repeater heaven today. With nearly 3 days of beard the whiskers just fell down. This was one of the smoothest and easiest shaves I've had. I can't believe they stopped making these things. :happy036:

    [IMG] Three Pass Shaving Routine..

Hot Water Prep & Massage with Argan Oil
    Cobra Classic
    Feather Pro Blade (2nd Shave)
    Fitchard Pure Badger
    LEA Tallow Soap
    Humphreys Witch Hazel

I had My 2nd Shave with the Cobra Classic Today that Martin Kindly Sent on this TSR Pass Around..The 2nd Shave with the Pro Blade was the Usual for Me in any Razor..Not as Crazy Sharp as the 1st Shave..I Got Away with a Tad of Forward Pressure Today for the Side Burns & Stuff..:D

I Just Love the Way the Cobra Handles..It Moves around Like a Sports Car..There is No Doubt that the Guy that Designed the Cobra Specifically Designed it around the Feather Pro Blade..That's What make the Cobra Special in My Eyes..There is a Yin & Yang Harmony between the Pro Blade & Razor Goin on here..This is an Injector Type Design for Sure..It Looks like an Injector..It has the Hallmarks of an Injector..It Feels Like an Injector & it Shaves like an Injector..;)

The Only thing it Doesn't Do is Load like an Injector..That Said it Does Load Like an Early Schick Type D, Type E 1 & Type E 2 that Opens so there We have it..It has a Loading Mechanism very Similar to the Original Schick Injectors..:p

I have heard it Said that Shaving with an Injector is Like Kinda Cheating Ya Out of a Shave..Always thought that was a Bit of Misdemeanour that One..Well..The Cobra takes that Too Another Lever with Its Extra Long Head..Its Like a Big Brush Sweeping Away the Whiskers at Ease..

I had 2 Days of Whisker Growth Tonight that I would Say was Compatible with a Left Centre to Middle of the Road Injector..The Cobra is Not an Aggressive Shaver..Personally I Wouldn't have the Cobra any Other Way..There is a Perfect Balance Here with the Feather Pro Blade for the Utmost Smooth & Comfortable Shave..:)

Martin Said I would Like it..Darn You Martin..You Mind Reader..I Do Like it & I Would Love to Own One..:angelic007:

Ah, you're a trained observer Mike.
Yes I love lemons. Right after I started my cold water shaving for the summer, I went out on a limb and tried the Glacial Lemon Chill soap from Stirling. Oh my, relief from the heat!

and looky here, even @KarlG used the same soap today!

Aye laddies, tis the Ferguson Clan! The Sons of Fergus!

The Keepers of the Bees on yonder Thistle, resting on his Chapeau!

(and @Karl G a Chapeau is not part of the anatomy of a Bee, nor @twhite it is not the Bees Knees either! and don't get me started with Dog Danglies!)

Nope - smooth guard. The closed comb is a C2. Surprisingly I wasn't impressed with this razor when I first got it. :pot:
