Shaving with another lady this week...my Lady Eversharp K2. A fairly mild injector with a fairly long handle. With my Hermey synthetic brush and Chick blades she's great!. (Ha! What an appropriate name.)

    Nice shave, nice lady.

    Today's Shave: Thursday August 25, 2016

ATT SE1 w/Jurgen Hempel Titanium handle
Feather Artist Club Professional blade (8)
    The Grooming Co. synthetic brush
Chiseled Face Santa Paula Citrus soap & aftershave

I was in a bit of a hurry this morning and grabbed whatever was handy. While I don't like to pick favorites, the SE1 is sort of becoming my "go-to" razor. Feather AC Pro blade is still going strong on shave #8.

Wow! What a great shave this morning with the Schick N1 fitted with a twin blade. Guys these Palmolive creams easily produce some of the best lather out of anything in my arsenal. This is the cool menthol version, the original version is just as good. I'm begging you to pick up a tube of Palmolive shave cream. You'll thank me. :D Three easy passes for a dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day friends. :happy069:

I hadn't thought of that! I think having both an an N type aswell as an O type is by far the best way to go!
I stand corrected....You know, I've never tried an O type, I hear they make a divine set-up when paired with a twin aswell....
Hmm....and I haven't tried an N, since they were the newest Schick....opps...makes me sound old......But after hearing your astute observation....I'm game, thats how much I trust you...I'd snatch up an N type and some twins, sight unseen, just on your recommendation...:happy088:

    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: PAL Adjustable
    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Barbasol Pacific Rush, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, XTG

Fat Friday! Nice shave with the PAL Adjustable. I'm not as smooth as normal with two passes, but I'll chalk that up to unfamiliarity with the razor as well as the mild setting I chose. I'll bump the setting up next time.

My Mitchell's lather wasn't quite as good today. Not sure why, but that won't change my opinion of it or my affinity for it. It's a terrific soap!

    Have a great Friday!

    Friday Shave
    [IMG]
    Brush- AOS Fine Badger
    Razor- Schick Adjustable/PAL Adjustable
    Blade- Chinese Schick/Chinese Schick
    Soap- Stirling Ozark Mountain
    Post Care- Crystal Alum
    Thayers Witch Hazel
    Osage Rub
    Bombed Florida Water

I swapped out the twin blade for a Chinese Schick, it felt like a completely different razor. First I lathered up a fantastic bowl of Ozark Mountain. I really like the scent of this soap and the performance is tops. I used the Schick on my left side, the PAL on the right. The Schick did not pull like it did with the twin, but I also got considerably less reduction. I did my usual three passes and I was BBS on the PAL side, I needed to do some touch up on the Schick side. The alum definitely burned in the Schick side, completely silent on the PAL. I finished up with a fantastic Osage Rub and Florida Water combo. Have a great day folks!

Ben, it looks like you're leaning towards the PAL at this point. I love a great shave, but I've seen the price of those twin blades and they are steep! Apples to apples, Schick versus the PAL with a single blade, it looks like the PAL wins.

Its Hard to Compare the Schick Adj to the PAL...The Schick with Twin Blades is One Almighty Injector Set Up & Can Offer the Most Perfect Multi Direction BBS...The PAL is a Far More Aggressive Injector in My Books & Delivers a Similar Result although it Shaves Far Deeper for a Longer Lasting BBS Result...A Very Deep BBS Result is the Hallmark of PAL Injectors I Reckon..:D

Twin Blades May have the Edge on Comfort Mind..Maybe..

Jim, you're absolutely correct. In a direct comparison, the PAL easily wins. I've got one more shave but I can't see the Schick pulling this one off.

A wonderful last shave with the Shake Sharp before I rotate it out. There is a noticeable difference between shave #1 and #2 per edge on the blade. This mornings shave was the first on the second edge and resulted in a fabulous BBS finish.

I often forget there's a double edge blade in my Shake Sharp. Just realized I wasted ten cents last shave. Awesome razor.

Very impressed. First SE shave ever, a beauty. Dolphinesque, perhaps closest shave ever (we'll see tonight). E2, Personna NOS Super Platinum Chrome, Crown King ice scuttle, My Father's Face software. Will try the G3 tomorrow.
