A ride on the "E". I've learned the aggressiveness of the E2/Feather really isn't necessary to get a great shave, and today the E3/Plus Plat made for a more relaxed head shave. That Maca Root lathers like a mofo doesn't it?

Maiden voyage with my new to me Schick C3 was fantastic. The C3 is the better of the three C type shavers imo. I do prefer smooth bar razors over the OC ones so my opinion may be somewhat biased.

Colonial General ~ Deruitem 22mm Finest ~ Hibco Shave soap ~ Stirling Gentleman

I tried the handle from my Alumigoose on the General. I think I like it better than the cannon barrel it comes with. Either way, it is a really good razor.

You guys all be safe this week.

The maca root does lather well and I do love this soap but it tends to dry my skin. It is out of the rotation until warmer months return.

I use DIY oil pre and post shave. Works a treat.

    Blade
    : Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick G1 injector
    Brush: JR #60 synthetic
Lather: Fine American Blend shave soap
Post: Witch hazel splash, Fine American Blend aftershave, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

Another terrific shave with the G1. The Fine American Blend soap is quite nice - lathers up beautifully and is thick and rich, just as the label says. Great soap.

Nice shave, and hope you all had a great weekend.

Maybe once I get done using up all the Trigodon Deflavra soap I got in @ohbrian's give away I will go back to the Maca root. Or I could buy more Trigodon soap...oh the ADD (acquisition disorder decisions)

Not sure how a shave could get much better. Trying out a Fine soap is on my list.

Another eye opener. After 10 days with a modern S/S Se razor , have reverted to shaving with Vintage Razors. Yesterday was with an injector, with great shave. Today with ER Jewel aka "Streamline " , an excellent smooth shave, with a great all round finish. As Pickled Northern has mused, who really needs to spend wads of money on a S/S razor, when the oldies perform so well :);).

Wonderful shave this morning with the PAL Injecto-Matic. Marvelously, slick and protective lather from La Toja shave stick. Three passes for a dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day guys. :)

    Shave 6 with the bunny...

I tried the "Wild" comb this morning and got a wonderful BBS! It was a smooth and comfortable shave.

The bunny is a fantastic razor and I can't thank @twhite enough for making it available for the pass around.

Early days with the Schick E2, have had a total of six Shaves with one. Described by some as aggressive , I find it to be rather harsh during the Shave, though the finish is nice and close. I shall persevere with blades, other than the Dutch
Dangles. At the moment it lags behind the PAL Injecto Matic in my list of top Injectors.

Passed on my Schick "66", G-bar, and curved-cap GEM Saturday to my son, but (for now) I'm keeping my E1 and NOS G type, and the GEM Junior, Damaskeene, and the one in the nifty wooden box for myself.

I don't think the E has a chance of catching the PAL IM but a modified Feather - aka a Fergie Feather - will amp it up a bit over a Schick blade.

The second time using the type O loaded with a twin blade and boy it was near perfect. Simply a DFS producer with this blade combo. :D

H1/Plus Platinum, Mitchell's Wool Fat. A bit more work than the PALs, Hawk, Colonial General, but right up there with my favorites. Smoooooth.
